FF did that with Tactics Ogre and it gave us FF Tactics. grid JRPGs became popular after that. Nioh has a great deep formula and more gamers should try it out.

I can see why they term it like that but Nioh is very different to Souls games. It's very far from Souls set in Asia, structure is completely different.
