This pretty much confirms it. SRPG's are destined to be shitted on by western media for the simple fact they're SRPG's.

Yeah it's pretty sad that every isometric 3D SRPG automatically gets compared to FFT by american editors. Oh well, SRPG hasn't exactly been a really big genre out here...

The funny thing is he only gave it a 7...yet the one of the only downsides was something that really had nothing to do with the game... was the story that bad? or did he play only 4 hours?
