Some great games on sale. I'd highly recommend Enter the Gungeon if you're into rogue-likes. Crypt of the Necrodancer is also pretty good.

Yeah those were fairly surprising but they're sadly only on PS3. Not a big fan of the Eye camera. Fast Draw Showdown is there too.

Yep, been waiting on the same thing. Completely puzzling as I'm certainly not preordering or buying at full price if I can't try the old version first. Just a wacky decision as I'm sure most preorders are from people who already played/owned the first game.

I'd still recommend it. I played it alone and on an arcade stick, had a blast. The drug mechanic makes it way more interesting than other recent entries in the genre.

I bought Strafe and it took me about 20 minutes to regret my decision. I had so much hype for this pre-release, but decided to wait for a sale after the middling reviews. It wasn't worth the discounted price. Horrible judder if you don't enable vsync, ridiculous loading times, and gameplay that is just boring. I spent my entire time running backwards while shooting the stream of enemies that just mindlessly run straight towards you. It feels like a bad demo for a mediocre game, except you don't have anything mediocre to look forward to. It's just more badness.

There was potential for a great game in Strafe, but unless they dramatically change the gameplay loop via patches I don't know if they'll ever get close to what it could've been. Damn shame, as the style on display is rad and I love the core idea of the game.

It's rough. It's tolerable with vsync enabled, but I wouldn't call it good.
