I never removed my CC info from PSN and i still havnt had any unauthorized charges to my card. Until that happen, i will keep my CC info on PSN. There isnt much money on that account and im fully insured anyway. I dont blame people for not wanting to use CC on PSN, it doesnt hurt to take precautions, but i think that there is a pretty small chance to get your card abused due to the PSN hack, and most people are insured against this type of theft anywayCastor Krieg said:

Have to say, inFamous is really blowing me away right now. Way better than I thought it would be. Totally loving it.
Even the occasional slowdown isn't bugging me (which normally would).
e: and to think I never would have played it if it weren't for the PSN outage. So altogether the outage was a good thing for me, since I never play online. Go figure.

So, I finally logged into my PSN account and downloaded my free games (Wipeout HD and Little Big Planet), I hardly ever game on my PS3, so I hadn't touched either game before. Haven't played LBP yet, but Wipeout blew my mind. So much fun. Was playing it for hours with some friends the other night. I wish I had played the game sooner...

When my old PS3 died, I lost a few accounts because of fake emails + lost passwords. Lucky for me, all my accounts are under real legit emails now, so I can recover my passwords and accounts with no worry any longer!

I'm getting more and more saddened that I blew money on a PS3 before I got my new computer. After the PSN was down for a month I had to wait a an additional week to actually get any of the free stuff off the store, and after the nearly full day it took for the PS3 to download the under 2GB for Dead Nation, it now wants me to download the latest update which is nearly 200MB? Why isn't the newest version of one of the free games you're giving away already on the store? I thought the reason you deal with all the bullshit console's give you compared to computers is that it's suppose to be put disc in and play? You're giving away hundreds of thousands of these free games and I have to download it, install it, then it figures out you need a patch, then download that, then install that. Why wouldn't Sony make this as easy as they possibly could; why would I want to deal with all this on a console when it's actually easier on Steam to download and keep games updated?
Why is the wireless connection so worthless on the PS3's anyways? My computer is less than 5 feet from where my PS3 sits, both on wireless connections, and downloading from Steam tops well over 1.3MB/s while the PS3 can't seem to reach 100kb/s.

As I'm not in the US I can't buy digital stuff from Amazon. I already have every other game that was given away for free. $5 is still more than free. I have to switch accounts constantly anyway because of the DLC I bought on my European account and it's not like this is the first game I ever got from the HK store.
I just got the email from Japanese PSN two hours ago to change my password, which let me through Sony's website after two tries. Afterwards, I was able to finally login to my Japanese PSN account! Obviously still can't access the store, as many here have pointed out. Waitin on Echochrome!!

Due to an email I got from them, I actually discovered a second North American account I had forgotten about. I also lost one of my Japanese accounts due to no longer having that email account (old job email).
Now if I could just figure out why I signed up for a PSN account a year before I ever bought a PS3 after I sold my first PSP.
