You're the bossMaybe you should edit your post. Just add an /s to the end, in order to avoid more confusion. God knows we have enough of that as-is.

Lol, no I'm not. It's just a suggestion, seeing that a lot of people clearly don't bother clicking your link ;-)You're the boss
I still did it though, you're not the boss of me!Lol, no I'm not. It's just a suggestion, seeing that a lot of people clearly don't bother clicking the link ;-)
Didn't you hear us, PRE ORDER CANCELED!!!Christ on a bike, you guys are still raving about the jittery headset on that stream?
I've had a dev kit for months and never ran into any problems, was surprised by just how good the headset is for the price as it has a fair few advantages other Vive and Rift (less glare than the Vive, less SDE than the Rift).
They either had weird conditions or dodgy hardware, people cancelling orders over this are suffering from No Mans Sky pre-order hysteria. The weakest link in the setup are the Move controllers which can be jittery on occasion, but it rarely detriments gameplay. No drift or weirdness at all with the headset, in various office like conditions.
Really impressed with some of the games too, you guys need to have more faith.
Here is Peter Brown's answer, senior review editor for GameSpot, when he is asked if he has experienced any tracking issues.

My problem with Vive is that it looks so uncomfortable the way it straps onto your face. PSVR is the only one that actually looks like it will put little to no pressure against the face muscles.Sadly, you won't be able to experience everything out there on any single HMD.
Certainly not on the Rift, which currently has the most limited library.
Certainly not on the PSVR - with its lack of room-scale and 360° tracking there are a great many games already available on the Vive which simply aren't possible on PSVR.
Also not the Vive. While most third party PSVR content is very likely to eventually make it over, Sony's own first party exclusives obviously won't.
I'd argue that in terms of distinct experiences it enables, the Vive is far ahead of the other current alternative, simply because it supports all currently available modes of VR play (seated/cockpit, standing 180°, standing 360°, room-scale).

I had a lot of questions about Cinematic Mode in my review yesterday, so I did a separate video on it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IoNb5edeQNc
Hope some of you find this useful, and let me know if you have any questions.

2 quick questions:
Can PSVR be used without a TV?
How small can the headset be adjusted? I'm sure my 5 year old will want to try it.
My small 6 year old wore it just fine, with no issue, though to protect their ass Sony says only 12 and up. Not sure if there is actually much research yet about VR and young kids.
You have to consider that the way the HMD is mounted is also to some extent a function of its intended usage scenarios. My problem with Vive is that it looks so uncomfortable the way it straps onto your face. PSVR is the only one that actually looks like it will put little to no pressure against the face muscles.
This is actually the most important consideration for me, personally. I want to get a Vive, but not until they move on from that strap design.
He's being sarcastic.

What about the distance between their eyes, though? I thought that PSVR had no manual IPD adjustment.

No roomscale (and no 360° tracking, which is a subset of roomscale).
The version of Job Simulator on PSVR is redesigned to work with 180° standing gameplay.
What is this?

I'd like to know more about it, My 7yo will be blown away by experiencing this but the "12 and up warning" makes me unsure of letting him try it
Arkham VR could be thrown into the 'tech demo' category that so many games at this stage will be, and that wouldn't be a total disservice - it is more of an experience than anything else. At the same time, however, that's failing to understand or appreciate what this is: a superbly crafted concept that satisfies an itch many people have been craving for years.
If this is the future of PSVR - even with debatable running times - then sign me up. It's excellent.
I'm debating what to do. I am getting a PSVR. However, while I have four PlayStation Move controllers, none of them hold a charge. For $50 ($25 each) I could buy two new ones. Or I could spend about $20-$30 on a new batter and just put it in two of my four Move controllers. According to iFixIt, removing the battery is very easy, as it is not soldered to anything and can just be unplugged after you unscrew a couple screws and pop off the ball on the top. https://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/PlayStation+Move+Teardown/3594
So, what would you do? Go the convenient route, or go the slightly less convenient, but much cheaper route?
Battery replacement seems like a breeze. Why buy new controllers just because the batteries in them are shot?
Edit: whoa! No longer a junior!

Looking at the ifixit images.. it doesn't seem to be a regular AA battery in there.. though maybe it just got more padding since the length is the same..Battery replacement seems like a breeze. Why buy new controllers just because the batteries in them are shot?

What if I live in a cupboard? Would I get room scale then?
Nah seriously, they said you walk around with PSVR in a spaced area and most Vive games can be ported, but I guess it'll be redesigned 180° like you said?
"half-a-roomscale" ?

I'll be hella salty if we don't at least get a .hack VRPG.

Huh, so cinematic mode is only in an empty black space? I guess I was getting it confused with the oculus or vive where there was a theater or you could be on the moon, or really tiny and have a screen. Hope they add some stuff in later.

This might be an appropriate thread for this. It looks like Amazon has some cheap new Move controllers in bulk packaging ($25.99)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0072HYRNK/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1FJH5VT70I67Z
Please keep in mind that these are almost certainly ones that have been sitting around for years, and some people have complained that their new controllers won't hold a charge or won't charge at all.
Personally, I had purchased one brand new when Best Buy had them on clearance a few years ago and just opened it 3 days ago. I charged it fully and it appears to be holding its charge fine while playing LittleBigPlanet 3 on PS4 (who knew this had Move compatibility?), so it is definitely not all of them.
Same old design, newly manufactured. Are they putting out revised move controllers for psvr launch? Or are the bundled ones just the same old PS3 ones?
