So I thought I'd post some interesting findings in case they help other owners.

might find it useful too.
I only use these with the OG PS5 and you have to use the dongle with PS5's. I have never had any disconnects at all whilst using the Elites. But I have had an intermittent annoyance. The audio would occasionally have a very minor, but annoying glitch, sounding as though a bit of audio just got missed out of the whole mix. Only lasting a fraction of a second, but frequently enough to be noticeable. Something that never happened with the Pulse 3D. So I then tried the following:
- Front USB A port - issue persisted
- Rear USB A ports - issue was worse
- Rear USB A ports, but with an extension cable (5 Gbps) taking the dongle away from the PS5 but keeping line of sight - issue was improved but still happened
- Front USB-C port, used 10Gbps C to A cable - issue fully resolved and also can now walk around my entire apartment without ever losing signal
Picture of USB C to A 10 Gbps cable:
The rear ports may also have worked with a 10Gbps extension cable, but imo they should have worked around the back regardless. This dongle loves to be plugged into a USB-C port on the PS5. Which is silly when you think that its a USB A dongle. But it is what it is. Not only is this glitch resolved, but I can walk further away in use than before. Also the surround stage is now more consistent. So it may well have been compromising audio quality before. Other users have also been resolving disconnects by using the USB C port too.
I'll let you know if I have any other issues, but all seems good now.
