What does it say about me? Please do tell. I would like to know.
Case by case means games that were already in development and already planned console versions and also MMOs. Starfield was just PC at the time, it was why Sony was desperate to get exclusive on it before the buyout.

They probably don't think this Quake is going to move series consoles or gamepass so they are happy to release it everywhere.

Pretty sure nobody said this. It was said that none of the biggest new next gen titles would be coming to Playstation 5 outside of what's already under contractual obligation. That means no Starfield, no Elder Scrolls 6, no next gen Fallout singleplayer RPG, no Redfall, no next gen Doom, probably no next gen Wolfenstein etc.
This game, whatever it is, is releasing on everything down to the switch, xbox one and ps4. That alone should tell you we are probably dealing with a remaster situation and not a proper next gen release or remake.
One outlier possibility would be Indiana Jones if Disney requires it be multi-plat or MMOs that benefit from having more users anyway. That's what was said. But I honestly suspect the Indiana Jones game will be exclusive since Disney doesn't seem to have issue with exclusive titles for some properties.

Actually it wasn't and if you can prove otherwise please do. I've done freelance work for Bethesda and I have a friend of mine who is a technical artist there and there wasn't any console versions of Starfield in development yet before the buyout.

I love Quake 1 and 2. I prefer one to the other. I don’t mind if people don’t agree, but I do think they might not understand why my preferred game is better. However, I will not let that doubt stand in the way of other people loving what they love, unless I am forced to defend my choice.

I don't know what their work flow was, I just know there was no active console version in development when the buyout started. Btw my work for them wasn't for Starfield, it was for something else.

I would LOVE for any of this to happen....a reboot of Q1 / Quake 5 / reboot of Q2/ anything. BUT nail the fucking multiplayer. DOOM sucked ass, I mean when Diego said they wont have classic death-match...I turned the interview off. Sure add new modes but fuck me even call of duty has death-match so why wouldn't the godfather of FPS have it again? I played the other stuff it had and it was a very slow and boring online experience. They said DOOM isnt about story but they ended up focusing only on single-player when Multi was just as equal in its existence.

Denial and spin is what playstation fans continue to do after it's already been made clear that the biggest new games are xbox console exclusive. But carry on lol.
