I predict a gentleman's 82. Safe sequel to a proven formula.
Er, where's the proven series formula here? It's neither PVP focused like Siege nor like old solo/co-op rainbow six tactical FPS games with real world-ish objectives/adversaries.

When I heard there was a new rainbow six coming that was meant to be played co-op. I was very excited.. but then I realized what they meant by that and it's not what I wanted.. I just want to do missions like the original games.

That is the most kawaii spelling error ever.

I like playing Wildlands if I totally ignore the plot and characters and just play it as a sandbox special forces sim. Does extraction allow that?

My guess is it gets average reviews with a lot of the complaints being the low effort "It's not Rainbow Six or Rainbow Six Siege." Already there's previews out there (Gamespot) lamenting that not every characters has breaching capability.

The people who like PVE co-op content, and a healthy progression system (like myself) will enjoy the game (hopefully). Those who are already keyed up to dump on things that they have no interest in will try the game on Gamepass for no other reason than to justify going online and moaning about it. Folks in the middle will give it an honest shake and engage or move on without incident (these people aren't "on" the internet). The cycle of life will continue. Amen.

It isn't open world but it does have a grindy progression system and a narrative that you are almost assuredly going to ignore in favor of the gunplay.

I think it symbolizes the level of effort Ubisoft put into the game.

Really curious where these "low effort" comments are coming from. The game is obviously based on the R6S engine, but beyond that it is a full game (discounted likely because of the use of the previous games engine and operators).

. . .honestly some bizarre takes.

Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon have both lost their souls and every new modern iteration goes further and further away from what made them great games in the first place...

Ubisoft has completely lost touch with what anyone wants from them.

Based on what I played during the technical test, I expect 65-75.
Ubisoft is exceptional at pulling things our at the last minute.

While I don't think it'll be to my tastes, I think it's going to review better than ppl here are predicting.

I can only hope this will get annihilated in the reviews, and subsequent player count.

What the FUCK have you done to this franchise, Ubi you dumb motherfuckers.

This game is probably going to suck and I hope it does. Ubisoft have got no idea how to handle Tom Clancy franchises at this point.

On another note, why is this a review thread but without any reviews?
