Well I got bad news for you LOL.

The last time I played Dark Souls 1 I was having an okay time. Then I got to the part of the game that was clearly unfinished and is a HUGE part of the second half. It's truly fucking awful.
Loved it in the past and had good memories, but man after playing many other games in the series and other Sousllike titles....it's rough.

Lies of P is EASILY better in my opinion.

You went hollow... sad when it happens.

First part of the game is better for sure, but call me crazy, I like the demon ruins, lost izolith, Blight town, ash lake etc

I will boot it up and start random playthroughs often. Got 2 going now, one on Deck and other on PS5 lol

And part of the reason is making the game play like a bullet hell shooter(the original concept) where quick mobility is key. And moving around as the characters is very smooth and you'll struggle to find other games that do this in that way.

2B even has the dash in SC6 and it feels great there too.

Big MMX and MMZ vibes.

Compared to Soulslikes with their very stiff combat systems. Unless it has that OH WOW factor like Sekiro.

And Fromsoft Souls games I primarily play for the exploration and atmosphere because I love me some Dark Fantasy Simon's Quest.
