For MY tastes, this was absolute cack, the only remotely interesting game was Saros, that's it.

Games like Wolverine make want to pull my hair out, then again, everything comics-related does.

I was expecting some GOW 2D especially after the joypad showing but...nope.

Crimson Desert in March is great and I'm gonna grab it

F…..there was nothing for me.

only thing that interests me was Final Fantasy Tactics but game is coming out pretty soon, I don't know why it was in the showcase.

Sony fucking sucks this gen.

Games/moments of note:
  • Saros gameplay reveal
  • Zero parades gameplay reveal
  • Battlefield 6 campaign reveal
  • Nioh 3 story reveal and release date
  • Deus Ex Remastered announcement
  • Mega Man DLC in Crosswolds
  • Dynasty Warriors 3 Remake reveal
  • Code Vein 2 gameplay and release date
  • Let it Die Inferno reveal
  • Chronoscript reveal
  • Crimson Desert story and release date reveal
  • Alan Wake 2, Cocoon, Goat Simulator 3 PS Plus monthly games
  • Soul Calibur 3 and Tekken 3 arriving to PS Classics
  • Marvel's Wolverine gameplay reveal with Liam McIntyre as Logan
A bit too many "new updates on games coming out very soon" but the few reveals were solid.
90% of this is the sort of news you reveal in a tweet.

There have been worse SOPs, but I'm not inspired.
Saros looks mid to people who are not interested in roguelikes or Returnal. Vast majority going by the sales.

Wolverine looks... fine so far. Obviously a lot better than the leaks, but I'm not seeing the spark. This was always going to be a more difficult project than SM though.

Easy A for me.

PSVR 2 support being in development for Flight Sim is a fucking massive welcome surprise.
More GT7 goodness.
Saros and Wolverine look fantastic.
Lots of great looking games. Absolutely stacked.

Saros and Wolverine made it an amazing SoP. Crimson Desert, MSFS, Nioh 3 are all nice as well. Pretty good showing for those who still like to play PS games instead of bitching about them.

B, dynasty warrior 3 remaster just saved this show from disaster for me, sony's exclusive look mid this gen, wolverin is not that excited like they are trying to hype it, and the 100th time they try to shovel the last of us down to my throat

C.

Nioh 3 saved the show again for me.

Also, I am quite sad about Let it Die Inferno... The original was so fun and unique, but the sequel seems to be just another pvpve extraction game, which will probably die in a couple of months...

They really didn't learn jack shit with the Deathverse fail.

I liked SAROS (despite it having been announced before and being very derivative of Returnal).

I liked the game with book artstyle.

I liked Wolverine, but it's going to take ages to come out.

Overall, a D-grade event, very poor.

D. Personally the only games I'm even remotely interested in were Deus Ex and Wolverine.

I used to be a PC gamer from like 1995 until 2007 (kept saying I was going to upgrade so I could run Crysis, never got around to it and eventually just let the dream die) and I've always regretted that I never played Deus Ex. I came ~THIS~ close multiple times but just never did. Right now I'm saying "I'll definitely play this remaster!" but I'm probably lying to myself, like Henry Rollins.

And I liked Spider-Man 1/MM/2 well enough, so I assume Wolverine will be pretty good.

Everything else the showed, I just kept saying, "Nope, next."

C+, Sony has completely lost the gravitas and excitement of their PS4 gen presentations and I've accepted that at this point, but I can't give it any higher when there were zero surprises here other than Deus Ex Remastered that does look kinda ass. Wolverine and Saros both look good and had pretty solid showings. I just always leave Sony's presentations with the feeling that they're doing the bare minimum. The passion is not there.

I want in expecting a C came out feeling an S.

Funny because I've 398 S ranked deliveries on death stranding 2 and I'm about to do the last 2 now.

>first game first few words 'emotional and haunting story', who wrote this
>some 2008-ass WoW game mechanics
>second chance, like second wind, or what
>shakira the indian god of skullofancy appears from the big doors of oomphinteresting, looking like netflixes' Jibaro

hell i dont partake in popular culture but men, this is weak
let me watch the next thing

edit: iso-game nice, flyboys do a flyings, battlefield would love to love it but its EA, deus ex beloved would try it, halloween not releasing on halloween, meh, meh, sonic!, nioh looked like nioh and turned out to be nioh, dynasty warriors cool, big tits mcgee innit, final fantasy innit, let it die, octopath script, donkey zelda, sound, the last of us not the last of us, old games we should have done for a long time, gran tourismo because we gotta, wanking controller or controller wank, cowboy pokey guy which should be infamous 3 but its gotta be big and also presented as a teams meeting i dont want to be part of, oh and that was it jfc

They're definitely just coasting now

G as Great.

What the fuck happen to Bluepoint Games? Are they gonna show something soon?

B-. It lacks 1 or 2 more great exclusives to be an A for me. Only Crimson looks interesting on third party. A teaser for Stellar blade 2 (even if its ps6) or some announcement from bend and blue point projects could have help. The good news is there is no marathon, fairgames and gummy bears.

Great show for me personally, but then again, I'm coming in off the back of that absolutely fucking awful Nintendo direct.
Deus ex remastered has me excited.
Saros looks phenomenal!
ZA/UM's new game Zero Parades looks absolutely stunning (I absolutely adore their art direction)
Chronoscript was a real pleasant surprise, looks really promising, hopefully a Metroidvania?
Superhero/Anti-hero, Marvel bullshit bores me to tears but Wolverine looked good.
Crimson Desert looked cool as fuck.
Good to see what I'm assuming was the campaign in BF6?, (I was distracted)
Yeah, good show imo

Saros looks good, Wolverine is so violent that it caught me by surprise and GT7 spec III out of nowhere.
Crimson Desert looks impressive but I'll wait for this one to be sure the performance is there.
The Psycho game caught my interest.

C. I'm sure Soros and Wolverine will be good. But modern Sony has me side eyeing all of their games, especially seeing the people presenting in the videos.

Nothing else great was shown in my opinion. Nothing that would convince me to rebuy a PlayStation.

C

Saros gameplay saved it. But I am actually interested into Nioh 3 and MS flight simulator.

I remain very skeptical about Wolverine. It looked like an "open world Mortal Kombat : fatality the game" to me.
