About 30 min to 45 min too long. I give it a B. Only a few CGI trailers. Too many of those Gatcha games, seriously those things are looking like cut and paste reskin stuff.
That Street Fighter bit was fun. Music was good. Several games I'm actually interested in.
Even had a big Puzzle game just for me. Though I've already forgotten its name. Jonathan Blow involved? (Order of the Sinking Star)

Probably between a C or a D for me.

Not even mad about it, I skipped watching the actual show, and just binged through the trailers.

Some stuff looks cool like Total War W40k, Audiomech, Bradley the Badger, Soros, Phantom Blade Zero, Orbitals, Ace Combat 8 & Lara Croft Atlantis game.

The rest of it is all meh to me, especially Highguard, which is might as well be a synonym for Overwatch...best I can say is it will probably be better than Concord.

I thought it started pretty well and was gearing up to be one of the best ones in years, but the second half announcement ms and trailers were simply awful. D for me

D, nothing really exciting i thought. Tomb Raider was ok to good, the remake more than the new 1 and 1 or 2 that look interesting, but it's just trailers so you can never tell.

Enjoyed Leon tps ots portion (though such a tiny gameplay snippet), Control Resonant being a different genre. Then the new Tomb Raider game looks interesting but not interested in the remake of first game. Maybe Coven of the Chicken shit, we'll see…

Other than that an over abundance of PC shovelware, FPS perspective games, online MP games, gachas, tactics, rogue likes, and shitty RTS or turn based RPGs 🤮

Other than EXODUS a big fat F!

Let us all know what you thought
I gave it an A. I had a great time watching it, and I felt really excited for gaming (particularly my back log).

I don't think the show had "the big one" and the end reveal was surprisingly disappointing, but fotor is huge, the divinity trailer was interesting, the 40k space section looked great, and I really enjoyed the variety of games tonight.

I'll rate the GAF OT an A, cause I love the collective shitpost we all have. But the actual showing was probably a D. Maybe a C if I'm in the Christmas spirit.

I respect Geoff and usually enjoy this show every year. It's something I look forward to as December approaches.

That said, this was an F for me, both for most of its nominees and trailers. Out of three hours, I can count how many enjoyable minutes there were on one or two hands.

I'm still watching but how in the fuck did players voice go to wuthering waves?

This shit trash mobile games that Chinese incels mass vote for need to stop being in any category other than best mobile game. Then genshin and it can go head to head.

I'm really getting sick of theses Chinese gacha games and all the character design feel like came straight from vtubers.

These shits are a mockery. One category until some actual innovation happens in the space.

Clair is winning tons of awards but seriously the one where it most deserves to win is players voting in yet loses cuz one country has 303758392030494748 fucking dweebs who only play gambling waifu brain rot and vote in mass droves.

Mobile only category and keep them out of everything else.

Forgot to mention I'm leaning towards a C but am getting closer to a D.

This is vastly inferior to the last few years. Mostly CG trailers and not in game, piggy was terrible, street fighter cast was terrible, cutting off Clair vocalist to not finish her half of the thank you speech, etc.

I didn't expect this year to trump last year but like where was Judas, or the expanse, or kotor remake, or another onimusha trailer, a tease for MH expansion, ff14 expansion, nothing from Nintendo… it's just fucking abysmal man.

Is control the best thing this had? I've got like 15 minutes left. What a disaster.

Putting aside the Mrs. Piggy filler segments, there's nothing else I can give this show other than an A-.

It finally deserved it.

Geoff finally fixed the issue of padding the 2/3 point of the show (which usually had tons of commercials). He spread them out instead (instead of having a long commercial block like usual), and put some big reveals in the latter half, and that solved most of TGA's pacing issues. Finally.

26 reveals from both the pre-show and main show, 16 of them new I.P.

The only slight negative when it came to reveals, was the fact that the very last game was a hero shooter.

Almost all of them with some gameplay added (aside from a few that were too new to show).

This. I can't understand for a second people giving it anything lower than a B. You're not a gamer if you go with an F. Just wtf did you watch.

Finalized my vote with a D. Ending on a fucking hero shooter? Fuck off Geoff.

Only new hype game with a little gameplay is control 2.

Arguably his worst show ever? 90% was not in game trailers, games in 2027, and just nothing shocking. Last year was too damn good.

I fell asleep through it, granted it was 3am here, but still everything just feels like too much talking and next year I'm prob not gonna watch.

I'm a Nintendo fan, and Nintendo doesn't care about this show anymore since Reggie is gone (and Jeff has no connections there I guess).

Also a lot of the reveals were CGI or very directed in game footage. The awards themselves have no relevance, and also the people presenting them mostly are not gaming luminaries but D level actors. I wish Jeff would try and make the show more gaming and less Oscars, more fun needs to be had and not take itself so seriously.

This was the first ceremony where I actually fell asleep halfway through, and only woke up this morning. So 3 out of 10...

Not a single game I'm excited about.

I'm interested in 4 Loop.

I'll play High Guard for an hour.

My final score of TGA 2025: The Marathon vidoc can't get here quick enough. Mostly single player slop and few old era multi-player...gross

First one I watched. The presenters, guests, developers etc were absolutely mortifying.

I can say with utmost confidence it'll be the last one I'll ever watch.

C, but only because E33 won GOTY and best music, and there was a performance on stage. Those are the 3 things I wanted to happen back in April and they did. The rest of the show however was largely horrible, with lackluster "world premieres" except for a few.

Being a fan of Titanfall and Apex, I was excited for the last reveal for a few seconds, before they showed that horrible Valorant-looking garbage game. I guess they want to get a young audience cause I don't know any adults who like that art style.

I've just spent the last 5-10 minutes watching any trailers I was interested in. I went to bed after the Divinity reveal.

Tomb Raider looks pretty good.
Not sure about the new Control game - melee combat only?
Saros small delay (boo) but looks good.
Nice to get extra stuff for E33.

Other than that there is some mildly interesting stuff but I'm very thankful I didn't stay up for the full show.
