In collaboration with Double Eleven, this new version adds PC-specific enhancements including native 4K resolution at up to 144hz on compatible hardware, monitor support for both Ultrawide (21:9) and Super Ultrawide (32:9), HDR10 support, and full keyboard and mouse functionality.

There’s also support for NVIDIA DLSS 3.7 and AMD FSR 3.0 upscaling technologies, NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation, adjustable draw distances, shadow quality settings, and more.

Check out the new trailer above and stay tuned for more details, including information later this week on how to pre-purchase Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare at the Rockstar Store, Steam, or the Epic Games Store.

I just always owned all 3 consoles alongside my PC, I don't get this waiting 14 years to play one of the best games ever made. Nowadays you don't even need an Xbox it you have a PC outside a handful of titles.

Like it you had the money for a PC why wouldn't you be able to buy a preowned PS or Xbox? Please help me understand, I'm in the UK where these things are more expensive too, is it a pride thing? I don't get it, if I want to play a game I get the console and play it, sometimes on launch, sometimes way later sometimes the Pro as in the last gen (because I was big into Diablo III and then Hitman during the start of the PS4 cycle).

"at up to 144hz"

My 165hz may cry. -_-'''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''

So I guess a 60 FPS RDR2 patch is coming, it will just be 20 years and full price.
60+ is already there since day 1.

Mainly because performance and gunplay sucks there. Now there will be proper mouse+kb gunplay.

I never really understood waiting for a game to come to PC THAT long (eg. Bloodborne). I get that people want that definitive experience, but I'm not waiting years for a game if it already came out on Console.

I just upgraded to a 4070 Super, so I can definitely see a reason to have a gaming PC though, won't deny it.

FSR 3.1 has been out for over half a year and it’s such a major IQ improvement over 3.0. Do devs even know it exist at this point? FSR 3.0 is awful, I rather have FSR 2.2 if they aren’t going to give us the latest. AMD needs to start getting on developers about this.

I remember getting into a fight in some YT comment section with some guy claiming it was impossible, I later learned he was some guy larping as a Rockstar insider/dev on the GTAforums. Now the game is on everything.

Surprised but good news, Rockstar rarely shows PC some love and the game is rated one of their best, hope the port is good.
Yes and no. One the one hand, their games come to PC late, but on the other hand, they're usually hugely upgraded over the console version. GTA IV, V, and RDR2 are effectively the "next-gen" version of these games on PC, so I can't really complain.

Finally, PC-only gamers will experience a game that came out over 10 years ago! Time for my third dip because these mods will be fire.

Nothing personal but some of you console players are fucking up the industry for the rest of us.

Bending over backwards and willing to pay FULL PRICE for a damn 60fps patch?

Holy shit man get a grip
Relax 😂

I know I could go and buy a PC and play it there. Chill out with your industry ruining hyperbole. It’s beneath you.

"Sucks" is a stretch isn't it? It's one of the most highly rated games of all time and it's meant to be played with at least the soft lock on clearly, free aim is madness on controller.

I'm an absolute pedant for graphics and framerate and the like but sometimes you just have to play the game and get over things, or you wait 14 years lol. The game will not hit quite the same after all this time clearly, though I do think it holds up very very well and the characters and dialogue is superb, like top tier of all games.

To be fair, I do believe that the game was in really bad shape and it did take them a while before they decided to put in the work to port it. But that was done with the Switch/PS4 versions.

GTA 4 was a terrible port at the time, i bought it on release back in 2008, it was a straight up 360 copy, and ran badly yeah GTA V and RDR 2 ran well but not GTA 4.
