And bayo 2? Would be a good choice to attract those who didn't get the WiiU.
Don't you think?
Anyone?
Personally, I'd buy Bayo1 + 2 a third time if that happened.

Bayonetta 3 for NX release... Believe
With PlatinumGames busy with other projects like Scalebound, StarFox and etc, I seriously doubt Bayonetta 3 would be ready for NX launch if the launch was 2018, let alone by the end of this year.
Wasn't there some Luigi's Mansion rumor (that also looked really good)? (Not the arcade game)

We're talking about Nintendo hereMaybe the knowledge that there is someone who could spill the beans will hurry Nintendo along a bit. Has Emily been known to keep things close to her chest in the past?
That thing bombed so hard though....Fire Emblem x Shin Megami Tensei sequel could be in development.

If true is definitely NX
Ah, well...There was but no reason to trust it.
You need the Gamepad to make levels.
Emily apparently knows about a few new games as well. Wonder if she will spill the beans
Just FYI, Xenoblade X has a medium budget. Despite what it seems, it's not an AAA game (actually, you can see where they had to cut corners to achieve other things, and Takahashi explained it himself).
But yeah, i'd love to see X in 1080p with better lighting, effects etc. It would look beyond glorious.

Little Big Planet never happened.
I don't see the point in posts like these. X is a game heavily influenced by western open world titles, maybe you don't remember this, but Takahashi said he wanted Monolith to be seen as the "oriental Bethesda" when X development began. He also said that the vast majority of japanese RPGs (those without a huge name like FF, to be clear) are made with a budget that needs to be covered with Japan sales alone. Having a mid tier budget means that they had to cut some corners and some aspects of the game weren't up to what he'd hoped: he made a few examples, like not being able to pay a team highly skilled in 3d modeling for characters, or cutscenes being "subpar". Likewise, the story wasn't as important as building a huge, rich open world with tons of quests, so Monolith used this title's particular setting and background (humanity needs to colonize a whole new planet in order to adapt and survive) to build an open world game that is in a few ways more similar to western ones, with tons of subquests and storylines related to the colonization aspect. They also started building the setting for a bigger story (which will be one of the main focuses in their next title, as Takahashi already stated) with the main quest, as you can see with its finale.Fuck that. Release it with a story this time.
Takahashi said:While Xenoblade Chronicles was a true story-driven JRPG, we took a rather different approach with Xenoblade Chronicles X. You could say it doesn't really feel like a typical JRPG: what really sets it apart from other JRPGs is that the game world - the planet Mira - is really vast. I've heard that some Japanese users who played Xenoblade Chronicles X said they enjoyed a more story-driven type of game. So if we have the opportunity to make another game in the series, I'd like to made another typical JRPG-style game like Xenoblade Chronicles again.
No it's definitely a AAA game. But there's a Nintendo scale, they are a more conservative publisher when it comes to budgets, and they certainly had an idea that the Wii U user base could only generate x amount of sales. But little by little Nintendo embraces some of the more contemporary trends and production expenses.
Takahashi said:I imagine a large part of the appeal is in this being the first open-world RPG from Japan. I also think it's really meaningful that this is a middle tier title, rather than a AAA title.

@Drtre81 There's a lot of Wii U ports coming to NX. (I know four of them) And that's why I'm wondering if NX will even bother with BC or not
They probably will do Smash 5 (mostly) from scratch, but not this soon after finishing 4's DLC.Wii U ports were a given.
No way they make a new Smash from scratch again lol. Sakurai literally kills himself making those.
Smash 4 NX will probably be all the DLC, 3DS stages, and hopefully Smash Run on Steroids and better online options.
Maybe all major wiiu games are ported to nx for whoever missed out on wiiu.

We know that 3/4 of them are Zelda, Smash 4, & [Xenoblade X or Super Mario Maker].Guessing the Wii U ports are:
Splatoon
Smash Bros 4
Retro is working on fucking DK port
Mario Kart 8
We know that 3/4 of them are Zelda, Smash 4, & [Xenoblade X or Super Mario Maker].
"Update 14: I read NeoGAF"
Nintendo is trying very hard to keep everything secret but i will leak some info" : After Zelda NEX definitive Edition (Wii U port), some sources are now leaking Smash Bros NEX Definitive version (Wii U port)
So what if i told you my source told me the name of the other two games? Would you believe me now?
Why Xenoblade or Mario Maker tho? What's the evidence on that?
So, which leaker is this again? The one that says the NX will be called NEX?
Supposedly one of our own guessed those four & Emily said that he got 3/4 of them right. Why Xenoblade or Mario Maker tho? What's the evidence on that?
Rogers actually implies there are more than 4 ports coming
She only knows of 4. So you guys can guess more than 4 games![]()

Why are we still giving attention to that guy? I suppose just for lols now, right?![]()

All this port stuff, if true, is rather silly on Nintendo's part. For people that missed out on Wii U? The core Nintendo base buys Nintendo systems on launch, and the majority of them will have owned and played those games on Wii U.
One would hope that there are a lot more original games, of the same level as the ports, in development.
I dont think Pikmin 4 is coming to Wii U tho.

All I ask is that they launch with a new Mario and Kirby game so my 5 year old can jam.
Like I said earlier, a port of Pokkén Tournament would make more sense than Splatoon. Unlike Pokkén, Nintendo's in a good position to where they can get a Splatoon sequel out by 2017, which would be better for the franchise in the long-term. Porting Pokkén to the NX Platform would also help with keeping the game alive in the FGC (maybe with some extra characters, features, balance changes, etc.).I'm not sure if Zelda counts in the same way since it never actually had a prior release before the NX. But if it does:
1. The Legend of Zelda
2. Super Smash Bros. Ultra
3. Super Mario Maker DX
4. ????? The guessing game.
4. If there is only more port, then Splatoon makes the most sense. The DLC is basically just about to end, and the community and sales are still red hot.
I mean there's a new 3D Mario, Retro's game, a rumored Luigi's Mansion 3, Pikmin 4. And who knows what else until Nintendo reveals the system (s).
Maybe Paper Mario Color Splash is getting ported afterall?
One would hope that there are a lot more original games, of the same level as the ports, in development.
Zelda (cross gen, D1)Rogers actually implies there are more than 4 ports coming

I still think we're more likely to get a port of Pokkén Tournament than a port of Splatoon. As stated before, Splatoon as a franchise would be better off with a sequel in the near future rather than a remaster of the first game. Pokkén is supposed to be The Pokémon Company's in with the FGC & eSports as a whole. No use in letting it sink with the Wii U.
Zelda
Smash
Mario maker
Pokken
Those make sense as ports to me because they are unlikely to get a sequel in the next 2-3 years.
Nintendo needs a new mario kart asap, not a port of a 2 year old game. Mario kart is too much of a system seller.
I also expect a new animal crossing quite soon, which was originally planned for wii u.
I disagree. I reckon the Wii U has sold to a signficant number of the core Nintendo console base, which outside of Wii has been shrinking each generation. I don't tend to think of the 50m 3DS base as the core Nintendo base.Porting between these two HD systems is a trivial job. It's not like development resources would be spent on it.
And yes. Wii U hasn't sold to a fraction of the Nintendo fans say the 3DS has. There are a ton of potential customers for a line best-of Wii U line. Not doing it would be like throwing away these games for good for no reason.
