Starfield will be a buggy mess. It will have poor performance. The gunplay will be lacking

The hope is it makes up for it in other ways

If it comes to that, then the mod community on PC will do their "job" and salvage the game.

But I'm hoping it's a genuinely great game. Outside of the bloat, the actual game systems should be solid. It's just a matter of how buggy the game may be getting in the way of what enjoyment could be there.

imo Arkane never made a good game, Dishonored and Prey was they best shot and those game were OK at best.

Dishonored was a 10/10. Dishonroed 2 was a solid 8.5/10. Prey was a 7/10. Both Death Loop and now RedFall are 5/10's at *best*.

It makes me wonder why Phil Spencer has got so much praise over the years. Besides Game Pass, what other wins have Xbox even had in recent times? I can’t even think of any, maybe just the Forza Horizon games.

Maybe they should do more Hi Fi Rush stealth releases rather than hype people up too much, which is sad to say because there's not a lot to be hyped for to begin with

He's ok with gamepass...he's ok with consoles (kinda, I think Series X is a big disappointment vs PS5, and Series S shouldn't even exist).

But when it comes to games? Man...Phil just don't get it. He's had enough time to make it happen. How this guy is continually protected from his own failures is beyond me.

IMO they should have switched Redfall and Hi Fi rush. They should have been able to identify the fact that hi Fi Rush was going to be amazing and rediverted their focus and marketing budget to that title.

Redfall is the one that should have been shoved out the back door.
