Another jewel in my crown of captured childhood. It's extremely comprehensive, with remastered de-Nickelodeoned episodes, the way Old Man Mother Nature intended. Great audio commentaries from the likes of John K. himself, Bill Wray, and Jim Smith. Completely unaired episodes!

I don't know how Spumco snatched away the rights to Ren&Stimpy, but man I'm happy.

I don't know about a few months ago, but this is the three DVD set. The scenes removed by Nick have been reinserted, and the filler scenes have been removed. Basically, some of the episodes have been remastered by the creators to restore the original vision. Some things aren't the same as before, but those are changes with which I can live.

there were 2 sets released...one from time life and the one that came out last year. I missed out on the Time Life one and was in no way in hell paying $100 to $300 for it on ebay.

1. Does this feature the episode where Ren is split into two, and there's Evil Ren and Apathy Ren?

2. If yes, can you do a screengrab of Apathy Ren? I've never been able to find a screengrab of this online.

Well, the Time Life dvd isn't good deal at all, especially if you gotta pay more than the price it should be, $30. Besides, Ren and Stimpy uncut is, well, uncut, and is the whole first 2 seasons. So basically, the good stuff. With 6 or so audio commentaries and other cool stuff. If you're a fan get this dvd.

Oh, and on that Ren and Stimpy episode you're thinking of bjork, that's in season 3. Ren's Bitter Half. Maybe you could find some luck checking Kazaa or something.

Supposedly there's still some footage missing but John K put this together the best he could I heard. It may have also been edited through the stewps of making it do dvd somewhere. Here's what was cut, a few small things.

Stimpy's Toothache
- Ren & Stimpy saying goodnight to each other
- Some scenes of Stimpy brushing then spitting into a jar
- Some of Ren grinding his teeth out in his sleep
Haunted House
- Entire 'Bloody Head' scene
Bug Baby Scam
- Extreme close-up of Ren being scraped along Mr. Pipe's stubble
- Grandpa whistling to Ren & Stimpy in the bath
The Cat That Laid The Golden Hairball
- Some scenes of Stimpy licking off his fur
Son Of Stimpy/Stimpy's First Fart
- Ren saying "Here's your Christmas present, Stimpy. I hope you like it...wherever you are!"

This DVD set is great.

I don't really remember much about other Ren and Stimpy episodes that came after the Spumco era (Season 1 & 2), but I would certainly buy them if they came out on DVD because hey, it's still Ren and Stimpy (to a lesser degree). I have GOT to see Ren's Pecs.

Yah wtf happened to their show on Spike?? Maybe Spike is waiting to see how well the DVDs sell or something in order to bring it back on air...
