Thanks man, you basically confirmed my two worries about the game which are the writting and combat. Many might shit on RTWP but I love it and knew I would miss it.

I have to check out the Pathfinder games, but might still play Rogue Trader first.

This is crazy talk. I mean I loved Pathfinder games, especially WOTR (my favorite mage combat after BG2), and Rogue Trader, but BG3 was excellent.

The sheer amount of mayhem and different outcomes to your actions in most quests was amazing. It's definitely worth playing, hell, it's a must have if you like CRPGs.

Kind of weird, as literally no time seems to transpire between the events of 1 and 2. I guess they will also kill the Beam Dog specific content like the Black Pitt.
Going back and suggesting just to play the first one would kind of be jarring in contrast to a game that begins development soon and probably will be out in 2028 and 2029 and of course you wouldn't be able to import your characters into the sequel.

I kind of get it to a point, there is a lot of praise for 2 and 1 definitely gets overshadowed.

If they are starting dev now we won't see the Remake till like 2030 at the earliest.
