Resident Evil 4: GNC vs PS2 Comparison

I wouldn't say that. RE4 isn't exactly the most lighting-reliant game out there.
It doesn't help the gameplay, but it does a great deal for the atmosphere.

really? i could of sworn silent hill 3 had a long list of graphical features that re4 didn't have. oh, and theres mg3...and zoe2 too. almost forgot...gow and sotc! :)you're silly, you must've forgot!

HEY!! There YOU go again. I'm not flaming the game, i'm just stating the obvious. :D

I liked RE4, but not enough to buy the PS2 version and play through a noticeably degraded version just to get the extra content. An Xbox version with improved textures, etc in addition to the PS2 extras might have enticed me though.

I must be the only but I think the darker color of the PS2 version make it feel more moody. Which I definetely enjoy more when it comes to a horror game... even though RE4 is not quite a horror game....

Does anyone know if the Ada missions are avialable right away in the PS2 version. Id like to give it a rent just to play thru the extras, but dont wanna have to beat the game just to open it.
