I beat the game but I don't see RAID mode. Am I missing something?

You need to collect mission rewards by going into the mission menu and selecting the relevant mission

A full professional translation of "Jessica's Report" from the "REVELATIONS REPORT" DVD that came with the Limited Edition of the Japanese version can be found here.
I read this and I'm confused when the interview takes place. Is this right before she and Chris leave for the mountains? And is the idea that this interview is not for public consumption, and it stays within the pharmaceutical organization? And that she's leaving the pharmaceutical organization? (Presumably for the BSAA)?

EDIT: On another note, I never tried equipping the charge shot perk. Sounds useful for Ghost Ship, getting more mileage per bullet, right?

The report takes place the day before Chris and Jessica leave for the mountains. The interview and report were conducted exclusively for the Global Pharmaceutical Consortium.

Her "leave" is possibly just vacation time, I think. In reality,
Jessica was a mole for the FBC and actually worked for an unknown organization.

It's not :(

Hmm...okay.

I was a little confused by this too... go into Missions, that lists all the achievements you can unlock, find the ones that mention RAID mode - the ones you qualify for - and then select them to unlock it on the title screen.

You go to missions to find out how to get unlockable weapons and such too, the missions page tells you the criteria for unlocks. It is also where things via StreetPass can be shown I believe.

It is our sacred duty to all become lv. 50 and henceforth join newbies and help them level up. Also an opportunity to show off the awesome outfits and weapons we'll have.

I really want to unlock
Lansdale
... but I must become stronger to conquer the Ghost Ship! I still want to know, though, how that one video showed people bypassing Promenade with an Old Key. Can you get an extra key somehow by swimming down into the flooded bilge? I'll do whatever it takes to avoid the skagdeads (spelled with a 'k' like the mission descriptor in the U.S. game).

So I played this for a bit on my nephews 3DS and it could be just the part I played but it seems to me that Capcom has truly abandoned the brilliance of this series when it comes to atmosphere. I would give anything for the true successor to RE4 or heck even Resident Evil 1.
Makes me so sad.

where is this video?

So just finished Chapter 7

Fuck you Rachel! Fuck you to hell! First I start off I see this bitch on the lower deck and kill her. I think yea! Didn't have to but I'm happy! Plus I can scan her!(Hope I don't have to scan her all 3 times.....)

Now, I see this times thing. By this time all the ammo I have is for the sniper, which, I don't mind. It's a great gun. 1 shot most of the things so I'm going. Now I get to the part where she comes back.... I get killed like 4 times because dodge never works for me! Only time it has ever worked for me was with the boss on the last chapter. He rammed alot.

Next that one hit guy comes at the end is all like " Ooooh yea!!!" and fucked me up more. Thing I didn't like most was it didn't start we with the time I had when I first restarted. I got to the room with like 3:30 left, but it would restart me at 2:00. So I couldn't even try to kill them
I had to just run!

Didn't pick up the RPG because I think it's one of the mission things.
Doesn't matter in the end I'm done for now :p

Here. I watched the first half (that's the second half I linkd) and it appears they go into the bilge to get an Old Key, which I hadn't tried before. And it looks like they don't even bother with the solarium. They go crew quarters --> bilge block --> casino --> main hall --> observation deck --> promenade --> deck (with massive battle royale including lv. 50 supersized final boss). They're both lv. 50 (I'm lv. 40 right now), and they're sporting who knows what as weapons and perks. But skipping promenade is a smart idea... You'll waste so much ammo trying to clean house there.

uh??????
was probably the part you played because the atmosphere is only bested by REmake imo. mind saying what section? because some sections are designed for action and others more creepy.

The outside chapter sections are definitely more action-oriented, so maybe you played one of those.

If not, then, I guess I just don't really agree.

you can't get to the deck without doing through promenade right?

You can go via the bridge, down the starboard elevator, the next elevator and out, but its just as easy to go via the promenade... just run past everything if you don't want to fight. Assuming you've already been there once.

starboard elevator? is that the other elevator on the observation deck?

Man Raid is so much fun, hope RE6 has something similar.
actually id buy it if they just sold it 1-1 for $20-25 on PSN/Live.

im actually surprised they didn't throw in Mercs 3D characters or outfits into this one.

Wha? Wait, describe the order of areas you'd visit if you did this route, from start to finish.

Just loaded up a couple of the maps in Raid mode and I was mistaken...

I thought I'd gone via the Library and Bridge, via an elevator there to another level which allowed me to get out, but I was mistaken. At least if the Seramis is an exact replica of the Zenobia, which I think it is.. I must have went via the Promenade after all. Apols!

Amazing.

Finally played an hour of Raid mode last night. Pretty fun. I dislike that each person has to open the door on their own as I kept following my teammate and running straight into doors that slam themselves shut. Also, the lack of first-aid use animation is still a little weird (mostly because I made use of the invincibility frames in Mercenaries 3D a whole lot).

Parker shouldn't eat any lunch because his face might get so fat it would take over america

That is one of the reasons I like him. He looks more like a normal, average person instead of a Hollywood, action hero, ridiculously good looking game character type.

Incidentally, what do the purple crowns in Raid mode mean please?

Currently polling second in Australia's federal election (first in the Gold Coast), this feral may one day be your Bogan King.
After two weeks my order finally arrives. Yay! I really like the episodic nature of the chapters, and the graphics are great. Not sure about the circle pad. I find it very uncomfortable and clumsy to use.

Revelations also does what I wish more games would avoid; it doesn't shape vertical camera speed to horizontal speed. What I mean is, when looking around with the circle pad (not aiming) the vertical sensitivity seems frustratingly high. It's the same as horizontal, but that's the problem. When moving left and right it's natural to make big sweeps with the circle pad, as you obviously want to steer the character as fast as possible. Problem is if you get the angle ever so slightly off the vertical perspective jolts up or down.

It's mostly an issue with me, having some difficulty controlling the game, but if there was a way to lower vertical camera sensitivity separate to horizontal there wouldn't be a problem. I like to find a balance between the two, not have them identical.

Gyro aiming wins again.

If it's in the mission select, it means that a bounty is available in that one. Check your Missions to see who you're going after.

If the purple crown is instead on top of an enemy, that designates them as a boss monster.

just wait.....fouuunnnndddd yooooouuuuuu

Parker actually made me jump once. I went through a door and started scanning the room and he all of a sudden appeared in front of me. I jumped and scared my wife who was reading next to me. =)

(Plenty of legit scares too. Good stuff.)

The bosses in this game are really annoying. Every single one so far has made me wonder if I was doing something wrong. But no, they just have way too much damn health.

I also really don't like the dodge mechanic. It's extremely unreliable.

Are you equipping the custom/illegal parts you find and are you targeting their vulnerable weakspots (usually the bits that most resemble their former human selves)?
