This makes sense - EA have wanted a big third person shooting action series for years and previous efforts like Mercenaries, Saboteur and Army of Two have all fallen on their arse. They're really doubling down on Star Wars shooting games. I'd like a KotOR 3 as well though

EA has been clear about the contents of this fiscal year (ends March 2016) and it's not part of it.

Unless it's a title releasing in May, they would hold until around this time next year to unveil the game under their new marketing strategy.

Nolan North said that one was "Uncharted style".

This one is directed by the director of God of War 3, so I'd guess something like a Jedi melee focused game.

I'm not sure why so many people here get excited by news of Stig Asmussen directing a game. He directed a sequel to a well worn franchise that was at the time the worst game in the series, and spent years at the helm of a project that was canceled.

Well considering he's a God of War guy and the third person shooter at Sony was cancelled, I'm assuming he's going back to melee combat. That means light sabers, IMO.
