42 hours for 25 deaths so very long runs and you can’t save. Yeah this is ridiculous.

You can save...
It saves your progress when you beat a boss so you dont have to do it again.
It also saves your weapon upgrades and certain collectables for the story.

Brother, let me tell you, I am just about done with that place. Even if you respectfully disagree and try to keep peace its F OFF or you're cancelled. There's no wiggle room for any kind of disagreement and honestly, that place is lost to me.

Taking the Jeff Grubb review into consideration, it's surprising Metacritic and Opencritic don't have some type of system in place to disqualify or significantly reduce the weight of outlier scores. I'm all for someone like Jeff having his opinion (presuming it's an honest one), but the idea that that one opinion will significantly drag down the entire metacritic score is non-sense.

The potential for someone like Jeff, who appears to have some biases, to bomb a meta score, or the potential for biased or bought out reviewers in general, is a real problem when so much is at stake for the developers.

Metacritic and Open Critic, and reviews in general, have so much influence these days. We literally just heard during the Jaff Days Gone Interviews how much value Sony places on them, and we know they can be tied to dev bonuses, potential sales, etc. Honest or not, scores like Jeff's are not reflective of the experience of most reviewers and should therefore be weighted less imo.

And yes I think this should go both ways. For example a solitary 10 when everyone else is scoring a game in the 6-7's should also be given less weight too.

Personally, I think I disagree I really hate that game journalist's score all the same. This is a good example 84 reviews all scored from 6 to 10 no diversity in a opinion at all. It sucks because there will always be people that love and hate every game and there not being served if reviews have consensus. User reviews are way more varied they use the full scale and as a result it's pretty hard for any game to get above 9.2 average.

Film critics are much better you get a good variety of score's for nearly every film
