Revolution touch sensitivity?

How would this touch sensitivity be placed onto the controller?

Back before TGS last year (when I was still theorizing on my GameGrip concept) I thought that something like "touch sensitivity" could easily be added by having two thin layers of stressball-like ruber stretched over the controller shell and between the layers a thin "skin" of sensor nodes that could determine where & how hard you were gripping the controller.

The EA quote may be implying "touch sensitivity" but then it says "around the controller" maybe meaning the controller seems to give a sense of touch in the "reach out and touch something" sort of way. Or it could just be special force feedback that gives a sense of touching something (recoiling, bouncing, floating, shaking, hitting, getting hit, etc.).

Yeah, I was thinking it meant more along these lines. I don't see anything indicating touch sensetivity on the remote, but I'm not familiar with how this works or what people would do with it in a game either
