Have any of yous guys noticed how human beings always want to want things?

Like some people - the ones who are poor - always want a little more to survive. The thing is they are always happy because they're thinking about the thing they long for, like water or some motherfucking cake.

But if someone is rich and has it all, and they stop wanting cool new toys, they become lonely and filled with self hate in their deepest core. These people are wrong, and I think they should DIE.

Do you think I'm right?

It's a yes or no question.

You should have just said

Have you ever noticed how people have opinions?

Opinions are like assholes, it doesn't matter whether the one in front of you is a guy's or a girl's....

This is what I'm asking:

This is just a yes or no question, and as such, a yes or no answer is all that is required and all that is asked for. Now, can you give me a yes or no answer?

I can't bother to read the rest of this thread.

You are an idiot. Maybe the biggest idiot on the forum.

You can't understand that people have different opinions than you? Do you believe you are the center of the universe?

So have you guys noticed how different people interpret the same set of data differently than others?

Dude, I've paid cash-money to watch BLOODRAYNE, and you're still more retarded than me.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT, you just blew my mind, people.... have.... opinions. That's fucking deep dude, just deep, either that or your the worlds first retarded philosopher.

And since were sharing stuning revilations here, did you guys realize that some people die? I mean, they die, there GONE! But at the same time some baby is being born, it's like, when one life ends, another begins. Does this mean anything?

Has any one noticed how when you are facing someone, their right hand is on your left? Weird!

"Woah"

Damn, you guys won't even try to answer the man's question.

Well, the question is a loaded one filled with several items that may not be set in summarizations & and generalizations.

I think the question should be split, and that it should focus only on the sociological perspective: how people act and respond how people interpret data.

So, have you guys noticed how different people interpret the same set of data differently than others?

Now, that's the only intelligible part of the original post. The latter two segments (sentences) of the post are convoluted, and are poorly formed over-generalizing questions. NLB2, whoever you are, should learn to structure your thoughts more clearly. You sound either very young, very uneducated, or both. Ignorance is nothing to be ashamed about. You can rise from it, good man. Just the fact that you are posting on a forum on the internet means you have some skills with which to work. Please consider reading a few scholarly books on critical thinking or something. I suggest M. Scott Peck's The Road Less Traveled. It will start you off to a road of self-actualization, my friend. I want to see you excel, and I wish you all the best in learning how to form definitive statements.

No.

Remember that movie, "The Gods Must Be Crazy"? The Bush people in that movie had no concept of possessions and no wants, until the Coke bottle fell from the sky. Ergo, wanting things isn't inherent in human nature, but rather an artifact of our cultures.

Those Dibs sound tasty.

They were too :D Mint Chocolate Dibs are da bomb. Me and a couple friends polished them off last night while watching Adult Swim.

And I totally think i'd be right to buy them again from the data of their taste in my mouth.

Is this gonna become multiple pages without anyone answering my simple, yes or no questions?

So have you guys noticed how different people interpret the same set of data differently than others?

Like some people say the war in Iraq is good and neccesary, and others say it is wrong and American troops should be withdrawn right now?

And even if you agree with someone on one topic, such as the Iraq war, there is likely some other topic in which you two have very different interpretations?

yeah, that's the only real question you asked.
Thank you for answering my question.
Now I'll ask you another one:
Have you also noticed that everybody thinks that their interpretation is right and everybody elses interpretations are wrong?

Whether you agree with me or not, we're doing the right thing.

Apparently, it doesn't matter what data we interpret on Iraq. We're doing the right thing.

And yes, I've noticed how some people are idiots and some aren't.

Think about the questions you are asking, it shouldn't take more than a couple seconds to answer them unless your questions are insincere.
What do you mean by insincere?

I'm just asking questions, and have yet to get a yes or no answer for my second question.

So I picked up these new things i've been wanting to try, Edy's Dibs..

They were still like 3 bucks on sale, normally 4 bucks for a pretty small package but they are sooooo good. I got the mint chocolate ones. So do you all think it would be right or wrong of me to get these again at full price?

Those things are like crack, which is bad. But they taste good, which is good!

Fuerte? Limon? Fuerte? Limon? Ay-yi-yi!

So, in answer to no one's question, maybe.

I, for one, fail to see what an aged, wanna-be detective has to do with this.

In response to the OP: Yes. Yes.

I think he brings up some valid points, and is asking the questions so many pundits are avoiding these days. For instance, just the other day I realized that I liked Quaker State poured onto my gleaming white body during intercourse, however my life partner does not.

I'm sure you can all clearly see how this is germane to the subject at hand.

"Insincere" in that the questions you are asking do not appear real since the answers are so obvious. It is possible you could be looking for a deeper and more complex answer and just stated your question improperly, but by asking for just a simple "yes" or "no" answer implies that the question is no more complicated than what was stated. That explains the difference in replies; those that interpret your question litterally and reply with sarcastic remarks, and those that look for a more complicated meaning to your question because they are overlooking its simplicity. That right their shows differences in interpreting objective information just like the war in Iraq example you provided in your original post, which should be expected since interpretations are subjective in nature. You answered your own question in your first post with your example.

Looking at your second question it's really just as simple as the first. Of course some people will think their interpretation is right and everybody else's interpretations are wrong, that is why they they choose that interpretation. This can lead to two conclusions; they are right so everyone else has to be wrong, or they acknowledge that other people have different values so someone else's interpretation can be just as valid to them as your interpretation is to you.

In other words: yes, yes. Happy? :D

ever notice how some people are conservative and have trouble maintaining an erection whereas some people are liberal and are fucking your young hot wife behind your back

People who think the invasion of Iraq is a good thing are ignorant of facts.

There is no differing interpretations of truth in the case of invading Iraq. There are those who know it and those who don't. Those who support the invasion do so because they don't know any better.

Yes.

I have never noticed that people have different opinions on things.

Especially at GAF. I mean everyone thinks the same things here.

You needed to start a thread to tell you that people interpret the same set of facts differently?

Ok?
