Thanks for the post OP! Picked up the game.
yeah i got a feeling it's an imminent drop soonGamepass soon.
It is safe to say that; not against the terms of service here and I couldn't see you getting banned for it.So, at this prices, is it safe to say it will be a monthly PSN game soon?
I'm having the same feelings toward the game. I don't know how much longer I can push myself through the game before I ultimately drop it.I'm a few hours into Robo and despite being a big fan of the first film, I really don't see the glowing praise here. It's...serviceable at best so far? The IP does very heavy lifting imo.
A lot of things that "are just Robocop" actively annoy me. The walking speed in the open area is frustrating and made me turn it off twice already and I'm not a fan of the complete lack of crouching, vaulting or ducking. It just kind of feels like a super-basic FPS with barebones level design because...Robocop. It's not translating into fun combat for me.
It's one of those games where I'm like alright, neat, and I'll keep playing but yea, I was expecting more. It's cool it even got made though so good on them.
Ever since I saw the UEVR mod for this game, it looked like the gameplay made more sense in that form.I'm a few hours into Robo and despite being a big fan of the first film, I really don't see the glowing praise here. It's...serviceable at best so far? The IP does very heavy lifting imo.

It's this low because they want to have some quick money. Which is always better than no money. It's a good game, got it for 20 € and didn't regret. I can't believe it's price got this low.
I wonder if it's next month's ps plus game at this price

So much this...
I'm actually one of the idiots that spent full price on this based on the hype and I couldn't have regretted it more...
Just like you mentioned, The things that are supposed to make it feel like a Robocop game are actually detrimental to it, this is one of the most basic, slow and shallow games FPSs that I ever had the misfortune of playing, not only is it not a good FPS but the actual sandbox environments filled with collectibles and shitty side quests bring it even more down, this game literally put me to sleep a couple of times...
The thing is that this game's lows quantity wise are actually more compared to the highs, even the OG, kick-ass theme is COMPLETELY unearned whenever it kicks in...
Couple that with atrocious, creepy, The Sims-like character models and their awful animations, awful voice acting, questionable performance etc etc and the final product feels/is literally bargain bin material.
It's the most 4/10 game I've played in the last 10 years and I really, really don't get how or why it was praised as much.
Just got the e-mail also, see the title has been changed too!
Might just be diving into this sooner than later...

Man, really hammered it here... that bad huh?
Just nice to hear the other side of it, granted I haven't dived deep into the game info (I usually don't).Down, that's just my opinion friend (even as an 80s kid that happens to like Robocop), others appear to have enjoyed it
Thing is, i don't remember the last good FPS that I played, Doom 16 was good and a solid 8 so Robocop, in comparison to that is a 4/10 due to the lack of budget which shows during the whole entirety of the game (again, terrible character models/animations/Vo's etc).
But besides all that, I just didn't find it to be fun, like, at all, for me personally, it's the definition of "slog".
You mileage may vary obviously so...
Cheers
What’s with the Horrible pixelation during camera changes in cutscenes. Had to stop playing it was pissing me off so much
It's probably the best Robocop game ever made in the history of it being a videogame..
