Cannot wait for this at all. So hyped it's this week.

EXACTLY! The thing is, Teyon is a small AA studio that does budget titles. They do what they can with what they have and it pays off. It did in Terminator Resistance, and they'll very likely do it again here.

Well Resistance was messy when it launched. Several updates and patches later yeah it was solid.

Fired Rogue City up on the 5 before work and the intro cutscene (which was great) got a little choppy towards the end, but once the actual game started everything seemed to run fine (playing on quality mode). I started the intro and it was preeeeetty fuckin dope storming the TV station lobby with the theme song blasting in the background. Popping guys with that 9 seems super satisfying, and Robo actually moves a bit faster than I expected. Loved the little things like scanning for bits of evidence for XP. Grabbed the trophy for shooting someone in the balls before I signed off.

Anyone know if theres a day one'r on 11/2?

What the actual fuck, how a reviewer can be so delusional and embarassing in his own job.

What is this US passion about shitting on honest and hardworking police officers?

Fuck you with your unfortunate ramification.
It was a Eurogamer review.

Rewatched the first movie over the weekend, what a brilliant film. From the lead performance which could of easily went wrong with a different actor/director, to the entertaining villains and satire elements.

I’m buying this over the weekend, I’d like to see these devs take on the Transformers IP or Predator next.

With so many games in 2023 why would anyone pay a full price for this?
Because if you're a fan of Robocop or even just 80's themed games and movie sin general, these are the guys to support.

I would happily give them money for this. I'm not really into Robo Cop or Terminator but I do want them to keep making these types of games.

I'm hoping they attempt a Red Dawn game since no one else has the balls to do it.

"Robocop is not only one of the shooters I've played 2023 but also just one of the best shooters in general"

Well, there you have it.

I wonder how many points they've lost from the 'press' simply because you play as a cop.

This is just another example of why we can't trust gaming journalists today.

Better to just listen to gamer's opinions, be it on forums, youtube or Steam.

Because I grew up with the movie and the (mostly) shitty games and Terminator Resistance was so shockingly dedicated to the source material that I put it right next to Alien Isolation and The Warriors as the best movie licensed games Ive ever played. This one looks no different and I love supporting smaller studios that put some serious heart into their work.

Even John from DF disagrees with the Eurogamer review.

People still take game reviewers seriously in 2023. Meanwhile shit like this is effecting their scores. Wild. Not sure what its gonna take for this uber political nonsense to be purged from game reviews, but God do I need it so bad.

Anyway, ill still give Robocop a try at some point. I was too impressed w Terminator game not to.

I just did... and iv finished Mario and Spiderman 2, have Star Ocean 2 predownloaded ready to go too... and looking forward to the new Yakuza and Granblue Fantasy Versus this month.

I like videogames and sometimes the smaller titles give me far more enjoyment than the AAA.

Noisy Pixel gave the game a solid 8.

I trust these guys more than the big sites, the big sites like IGN,Eurogamer,Gamespot,Edge and the like are so wrapped up in their own bullshit it's hard to take them seriously. That excerpt from the eurogamer review of Robocop is just embarassing. How do these people function on a day to day basis. They are probably having mental breakdowns each day they leave their house.

This is a day 1 for me although I probably won't play it day 1 as I'll be busy with some other games but I'll support this dev.

When I first played the demo, with its stutters I def said hell no. The second time after they updated it and gave it a bit more chance and rewatching the first Robocop movie I changed my mind and it's a def buy when cheap. It's got huge charm and some nice nods to the franchise but the gameplay got boring real fast. Seems like most agree.

Definitely can't wait to play, the reviews are about what I expected. This game is for fans of the original film, of which I am. I wish I could buy it full price now but I'm gonna have to wait on a sale. Can't wait for it to drop in price though or maybe hit Gamepass.

I never got to play the demo with stuttering. The version I played on my PC ran 100% smoothly, much to my surprise as I knew it was using Unreal Engine 5. Good that there was a demo then and that the issue was quickly fixed because that means people are going to be able to enjoy the game from Day One instead of having to wait for a patch to fix the stuttering (like EA Sport WRC for example which came out today!!!).
