ok bros Lost Odyssey is really fucking good. I'm about 2 hours in and the characters are likable, the story is intriguing and the combat is serviceable. Playing an RPG with adult characters is so awesome. Even Jansen is a good comic relief character. I was thumbing through the instruction manual when I was installing the game and noticed some lolis, but maybe they won't shit up the game THAT much.

I played it back when it came out (one of the reasons I bought the Xbox) before the install feature. With a weak story and long loading times (sometimes it takes up to 22 seconds for one battle to start and yes I used a stop watch) I wasn’t enjoying it and stopped playing around the end of disk 2.

Archie caught complaining about something he's never used again!

Wii codes are 16 digits. Game codes are 12 digits. Anyone who's used a Wii and gotten annoyed by that system would remember that as one of the annoying parts! And I'm pretty sure any decent game in the past year will auto-import your Wii friends into the game :D

EXCITE. Nintendo never disappoints with it's handhelds and I can't fucking wait to find out more. E3 is gonna be so motherfucking awesome this year.

Just felt like being a combo breaker in the middle of the Nintendo orgy going on. Boosh bitches. Not excited about the announcement, I can't even remember the last time I played my DS. They just don't get the games I'm really interested in.

I don't think I've mentioned them before. Generally I don't name names in public unless a deal's been settled on.

Unrelated, but I'm gonna have to go to the student health center, I'm having some rough chest pains >_< Really hoping it's not too serious, it's so close to PAX I'm worried about missing it. (Though WebMD is great if you want to freak out about every little thing. Sharp chest pain? Pulmonary Embolism! Even if I don't have coughing or shortness of breath or 'a sense of impending doom'....)
 
Yeah, every time I check WebMD it just makes me feel worse. I hope you feel better Charron Dave Grohl. Hopefully it's nothing serious.

Does anybody have any recommendations for songs to pickup from RBN for a drummer? Gonna be getting some more money soon and I'm definitely looking forward to getting more songs, especially now that I have my wireless drums back.

Though maybe I should have waited to ask until more than just night crew was around..

I'm told Africa is pretty good, and The Heist has a nice solo. I haven't checked out enough songs honestly.
 
Hmm, thanks. I remember checking out the demo for The Heist and enjoying it. I'll check out the demo for Africa later today when my roommate isn't sleeping.

I already have Footloose and Fancy Free. I bought it the moment it was up online, such a great song on drums. I'll have to check out Attitude though, might be one I can pick up for guitar too.

It’s Naughty Dog Vs. Epic Games in the second round of March Mayhem Developer’s Showdown. Very interesting.

BTW HMX are up against the Bioshock team.
 
The Witcher 2 was announced? Holy shit! Now we just need some RB3 tidbits to complete the hat trick of vidya awesomeness.
 
I've played the beginning of the Witcher like 4 times due to a combination of switching HDDs and uninstalling without keeping saves and I never keep playing it. lol.
 
I've played The Witcher for 10 hours with sub 20 FPS, everything on minimum and 1 minute load times and it is still an excellent game. I'm waiting to upgrade before I finally finish it, though.
 
It is one of the few WRPGs that doesn't follow the Bioware and Bethesda tropes, therefore it deserves recognition for that. Hopefully the combat is revamped for the sequel, though.
