Dave would probably love most of that stuff. I think every song (with the exception of Carrie Underwood) was riddled with three-note chords. A couple of the X songs had Dave's dreaded GO chord though, so that might rule those songs out.
As we had speculated, there was really nothing exciting on guitar. The only song I didn't 5-star was Los Angeles, but I remember that song giving me problems in 80's as well.
Lucky for you, there's no difficulty spike and every boss is equally made so a retarded person could pass without problems. As for me, I actually like when RPGs have hard bosses.NameGenerated said:Good, grinding is retarded and JRPGs always have stupid difficulty spikes that make me lose interest.

GuitarAtomik said:Man, it's so hard to get playtests on RBN. I have a song that's been sitting there for 3 days without anyone touching it yet and the last version of it only got one (albeit a great constructive one) after being up for about 6 days. A lot of songs don't get any playtests at all in the 2 weeks that they're up. You pretty much have to trade with other people to get one which I would do but I don't really feel qualified considering my very first song hasn't even been approved yet.
Does anyone know if Harmonix has anyone on payroll doing full time playtesting? They really should at least until the pool of testers grows.

I don't really think he's doing anything different compared to October.birdman said:cork is to JRPGs as Hellen Keller is to hiding. Really, really good.

Sp3eD said:That's pretty much what I thought was eventually going to happen. After the initial wow factor of RBN, the pepole with access to playtesting were really going to have to keep it up. I can already see from this thread that the excitement level of RBN is way lower and it would really be to Harmonix's benifit if they had a team of 4 go through and play every song on each instrument to give feedback / move songs along.

GuitarAtomik said:I don't really blame the community playtesters either. It's hard to ask someone to test a song they don't like when they're paying for access to the service. Good constructive playtests are hard work and they're plenty of guys out there producing them but not enough compared to the amount of songs being put up. I really hope the problem fixes itself eventually as the service gets bigger but it could just as easily become worse.
Don't get me wrong though, it's amazing Harmonix was able to pull this thing off in the first place. I'm just a little frustrated is all.
