It was a great gig man, don't be a hater just cuz it's cool to hate.

It was actually one of the worst experiences of my life, because it was extremely hot, we got there at about 12pm and they didn't come on stage till...8? Something like that. I felt like I was going to die at parts. Luckily, in exchange for going to see a shitty band my future girlfriend agreed to go see Weezer with me, where we sat on the floor in the Brixton Academy and everyone was happy.

I think I'm done. This is most boring, and pointless thing I have ever played.

Add me as a friend (thegreatdave) and come buy some pointless items from me that do nothing to your town except give you money and exp!

I don't think Scott Pilgrim is going to be a good movie at all. I'm sure the people that like the book will like it because they will enjoy images they already like flickering 24 times a second on a screen but I can't imagine it pulls a lot of new people in. It doesn't strike me as something that works on film. I haven't read any of the books but a hell of a lot more shit works in a graphic novel than it does in a film. I don't really have any hope for it.

I believe in Edgar Wright!

Okay I did. Now what? I can see you're farm. Woohoo.

OK Ravien, so when you look on the map do I have an "Open" sign above my town? If so, go find a building that's open for business. If not...check back in a few days when my little guys have finished working for other people!

Green Day hate is so funny. It's like if you're a music elitist then you are required to hate Green Day and U2.
U2 is shit except for Sunday Bloody Sunday which is their only tolerable song because of how fun it is to butcher it by singing extremely loud.

Dave is mistaken... about a great many things.

Also this is the Milton Keynes Bowl... with an arrow showing where I was during this gig :o

I also saw Metallica and Megadeth here... Metallica singed my eyebrows T____T

I was in the mosh pit :D
and still have my Metallica plectrum and wrist band.

Green Day (American Idiot era)....mosh pit?

Edit: oh, you meant Metallica. Carry on.

Yeah, soz. Mean't Metallica/Megadeth. My mate got Jason Newsteds sweaty towel too, apparently he still hasn't washed it......

Yea I was just gonna say I added you...I'll check in a few hours. The game pisses me off though. It's the only game that brings up an error saying I have low memory :/

When was that man? I saw them there early 90's when supposedly they'd made up with Megadeth, hence them supporting Metallica. Poor Dave's mic cut out as he was filling us in on the gossip but everyone cheered when he lifted his guitar above his head anyway.

Then we ventured to the front and got our eyebrows burnt off thanks to Metallicas pyro. JERKS :lol

If we were at the same gig I am done with this thread, shit would be too fucking weird :lol

Yeah i remember Megadeths sound was pretty poor (vocal wise). I managed to get in when gates opened and ran straight to the stage and got in the mosh triangle up front, hence the wrist band.

Nowhere Else to Roam Tour 5th June '93, had to raid my ticket drawer to check lol

Ticket was £19 for the day, wish they were the same price these days...

See I think it would be cool to have been the same place as one of y'all and find out later. Weird, but in a good way.

Dave hates Green Day, so he will hate their chordfests too. He's one of those music before charts guys.

But he still bought Rust in Peace because he's awesome.

Anybody see Ghost Writer? Saw it last night...it proves once and for all that no matter how charming Ewan MacGregor is he just can't hold together the entire thing (he almost can).

Yeah, it is. Just odd that almost a decade later we'd be in the same place on the internet. The small size of the world almost always knocks me for six. It's CRAZY!

Also we still need to do the drum off so you can utterly destroy me :3

Trolling aside, Green Day songs I like:

Longview (yeah loser teenager memories!)
Hitchin' A Ride (dats a cool riff bro)
Welcome To Paradise
Brain Stew (dats the same riff, bro)
Warning.

And given how my gf liked American Idiot, I'll probably end up getting the game in some form, eventually, so she can sing some of those tracks. Hopefully someone here ends up with two export codes; I will pay (or accept for free).

I have it pre-ordered, so i assume we may get one in-case and a different one on a card. If thats the case i shall make it available.

Since there was a full game count on the last page:
PS3: 14
360: 29
Wii: 8
PSP: 21
DS: 43
GBA: 3
PSX: 38
PS2: 41
Xbox: 7
GCN: 1
DC: 5
I got a lot more older games, but fuck it. I'm lazy.

Also, didn't I call "American Idiot" being in GD:RB? Bastards.

Remember, on Jesus Egg day it's important to listen to his values; give things to me for free.
