Watch Cowboy Bebop. It transcends anime. Also if you don't like the music you're dead to me.

Nope FLCL is like actual anime with stupid japanese bullshit in it so it's automatically inferior. And the music to Bebop is easily the best. There's not even a close second. There isn't even a distant second. There has to be a whole different competition because of how unfair attempting to go against the music in Cowboy Bebop actually is.

Wrong. Theres as much "japanese bullshit in CB than there is in FLCL and also the soundtrack to FLCL is fantastic. The Pillows are like the best band ever to come out of Japan and they contributed multiple songs for the album. I own it. Its amazing.

I honestly do wish that anime series would try to rise to the standards that their soundtracks are able to excel. I already mentioned Hellsing as an example, but Gundam Wing is a really good example of this too, as a crappy mash-up of various Universal Century storylines definitely does not deserve a rather great soundtrack from Shadow of the Colossus maestro, Koh Ohtani.

Cowboy Beebop is one of those shows that transcends the anime moniker, because the has such a negative connotation to it, and Cowboy Beebop is much better than that because it is actually really good.

I just checked and they're both up there, as well as Exodus - Riot Act. Thee's kind of been a lull in good stuff popping up for review since the store opened. Hopefully this is the start of things to come.

Yeah, they're on there. As you can imagine, they're final tier outside of vocals and, strangely, bass on Tastes Like Kevin Bacon.
