Has this been confirmed by any reputable news outlet yet? This wouldn't be the first time news has spread about his death.

Not yet, but it looks increasingly accurate from the various reports flying around. Guess we'll know soon enough one way or the other.

I've only seen it on twitter (:lol ) and "The Daily Enquirer".

Remember when he died of AIDS back in 2005?

Ah yes, the tombstone on the front page of the website. You can't fault his sense of humour, or at least you couldn't...?

Edit: from Type O website

The forums have been re-opened. Please play nice and expect statements from the band and family later today.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

What's so shitty about them? They look like standard rhythm game achievements to me.

Precisely why they're fucking shitty.

Play the whole game on Bass, Drums, Guitar, Vocals! THAT'S FUCKING FUN!

No, it really isn't.

What would you have them do instead? Come up with some better achievements.

The only ones I see that really suck are:

Won’t Make It for Dinner
Start a new Career and reach the credits within 12 hours as part of a 4-player band.

Make the Best of This Test
Finish all Challenges (Career owner only).

When they pay me to do so I totally will. Until then I gots my own achievements to come up with.

It's really not rocket science to come up with something more interesting than "play all these songs on one instrument" that shit is lazy and no fucking fun. Even Guitar Hero III had better achievements even though some of them were stupid impossible.

I thought The Beatles achievements were varied, and I think there's some in here that are too. It's definitely better than the RB1/2 achievements of:

Unlock the van
Unlock the bus
Unlock the plane

Play a set in Europe
Play a set in Russia
Play a set in the US

etc, etc.

I agree, Bloody Kisses is a great album, i also have a soft spot for October Rust. Some dlc would be good right now (PLZ HMX) but I'll have to make do with putting a couple of albums on when i get home from work.

Hmm:

Louder Than Bombs and Eternity
Hit 100% of the drum kick notes for “Brain Stew / Jaded” on Expert.

This is our new "get 100% on Helter Skelter Expert Drums" for sure.

Ability to Operate Machinery
100% the Guitar Solo in “Jesus Of Suburbia” using only finger tapping on Hard or Expert.

And here I thought that Harmonix wouldn't make another achievement that required the Strat!

Won’t Make It for Dinner
Start a new Career and reach the credits within 12 hours as part of a 4-player band.

This one is REALLY rough just because of the 4-player requirement.

All in all, I'm glad to see they're still following TB:RB's example with interesting and varied achievements. Makes me very hopeful to see RB3 finally do something with them besides simple progress.

I'm up for that 4-person achievement with whatever RBGAFers get it for 360 sometime during the first week. I think I'll be working the day it comes out. :(

Someone should tally up all of the song lengths to give us an idea of what kind of work we can expect to put in to get that achievement. There's no way it's close to ESL2 lengths, but I do expect it to be longer than going through all of the songs in TB:RB.

RIP Peter Steele! Bloody Kisses was the shit.

Knowing that I can rip the GD:RB tracks to RB2/3 has increased the probability I will purchase the game. Up from 1% to 3%; this "game" is not worth sixty. $30-40 DLC pack would have been a better option.

Anytime dude. Goes for anyone here. You need need help getting an achievement just ask. I'm sure Bebedora will help too.

Dookie - 39:46
American Idiot - 57:16
21st Century Breakdown (minus 6 DLC) - 45:39
Insomniac - 6:58
Nimrod - 8:12
Warning - 6:31

Total - 164:22

I didn't add up all the songs on the albums and just took the total running time, so I guess if there's secret tracks or something, that'd change things a little bit.

Kesha's debut album, Animal, was released on January 5, 2010 in the US to mixed reviews from music critics. Rolling Stone called the album "repulsive, obnoxious and ridiculously catchy." The album sold 152,000 copies in its first week in the US, debuting at number one. Second single, "Blah Blah Blah" managed to debut on the charts in the US, Canada and Ireland before being announced as the next single due to strong digital sales following the release of the album. She presented with singer Justin Bieber at the 52nd Grammy Awards.

Your point is invalid. (and I like Oracular Spectacular, I think Congratulations is garbage because it is, talk about a sophmore slump..)
OS was reviewed pretty good compared to Kesha. Also, OS sold way more worldwide and Kesha is only really popular in NA.

Also, how long is Cowboy Bepop?

You're only off by about 2 minutes without the inclusion of hidden tracks, which is only one (All by Myself).

You guys want to pull me through the Expert Endless setlist?

:3

With our luck we'd get near the end and then have a XBL disscon or something. Your always welcome to fly over here though :D

There's also a movie that fits into the series timeline that deserves to be watched. It's not as good as the show at its best, but it's a fine film with some fantastic action sequences.

That's not so bad. We usually play more than that non-stop in a party. The problem is will we be able to stand listening to GD for that long?

I just checked and they're both up there, as well as Exodus - Riot Act. Thee's kind of been a lull in good stuff popping up for review since the store opened. Hopefully this is the start of things to come.

Awesome thanks. Definitely going to pick up all 3 assuming they make it through. Really want to see their charts, especially the Bleed drum chart.

I'm sure that people will complain about the guitar chart on Tastes Like Kevin Bacon being all over the place, but it'd be true to the song. :lol

I sort've dig it. With out the primal screams from the chick it would be listenable.

the screams from the chick are the only listenable thing about the song
