Maybe it'll be better when they throw me into Copper league, after all, I did win 2 of my 5 practice games. But these placement matches are raping me.
 
Most of the english voices sound so damn bad though. I think I just have Cody and Balrog as english. Cody's english VA is ace. Also, Bison's 2nd ultra is tits. Just found out you can punish all blocked Blanka balls with it.

When do you normally play? I don't know how much time I'll be sinking into it this week because I want to go through Nier, but MH3 is going to stay in my Wii until SMG2 comes out. Plenty of time to get awesome gear.

Reading the early reviews, i'm really worried about Iron Man 2. It seems they pulled a Spider-Man 3 by putting multiple villains, the avenger set-up stuff, plus the regular tony stark stuff all in one. Not good. Though something very funny i read...

Iron Man 2 raises the bar in one way only. Embarrassing director cameos.

Jon Favreau's playing Tony Stark's bodyguard, and shamefully he gives himself more screentime than Scarlett Johansson.

Embarrassingly, he writes himself into a scene where Scarlett wraps her legs around his neck, and ANOTHER in which he ogles her getting changed in the back of a car.

Is he any good? Let's just say he was less annoying in Couples Retreat.

Hey, I just preordered SCII on amazon to get the beta, I'll holler at you guys when ever I get the code (they said up to five days) I fucking suck at RTS (I get rolled by my casual gaming wife at Civ :lol) but I had fun with starcraft years ago, willing to give the genre another shot

I'm going to do this tonight. I haven't played a RTS since SC so it should be fun.
 
Speaking of getting my ass kicked, let me know when you guys want to co-ordinate a SSFIV game I'm down to play most nights. I have one final left to write early next week so after that my schedual is wiiiiiiide open, just in time for golf season too!

My laptop might be able to run SCII better than my desktop (bought the laptop with a geforce preinstalled):lol I'm using the intergrated card for graphics but it's surprisingly sufficent for most of my PC gaming needs, it's a quad core with 8gb of ram. Blizzards games aren't usually too taxing so I'm thinking I should be ok.

Your single player character is literally the same as your online persona. Just register a new player for online and it'll carry him/her over.

I don't work weekends so I basically played it for 10 hours each day around 12pm gmt from Friday to Sunday and then pretty much straight after work on weekdays. I've been playing with friends who are as hopelessly addicted to it as I am. Been farming Rathian for the past 2 days as one of my friends has been trying to get a plate for the armour which has a 3% chance of dropping. Me and 2 other friends already have the full set and I've got 2 spare Rathian plates I don't really need unless I want to make a gunner set. On the Japanese version it took me over 60 fucking hunts to get it.

It seems they've gimped the western version as well as you could have about 10 players in one room online on the Japanese version as opposed to 4 for the western release, kinda sucks if you have more than 3 friends that play regularly.
 
Yeah, it's a shame that they dropped the player count from even MH1's lobbies (they did 8 players), but Wii Speak is a nice addition if your friends have it. I grabbed a keyboard since that's not typically the case. :lol :lol :lol

I just got done with Barroth and Gobul offline and I'm on the cusp of hitting HR 8 online, so I think I'm doing pretty good given that my work schedule allows me to primarily play nights. I really need to get new armor, as the Jaggi gear is kinda becoming a liability in some instances.

Ludroth armour is pretty good and easy to get, I used it until Rathian on my first play through. Barroth armour is also decent as it stops your stamina from depleting as much but he's a pain to fight tbh.

Ludroth armor looks so ugly though. I may upgrade to barrot armor but Ludroth is pretty easy to kill.

The game doesn't use Nintendo's services, but it does have its own quirks with friend registration, such as the player needing to be online in order for you to send out a request. You can search by player name, though, so it's pretty easy to track people down. You need to be friends if you want to use Wii Speak, though; it doesn't do anything otherwise.

EDIT: Clearly, the execs at NBC are sadists if Heroes is getting renewed.
 
I...I am at a loss for words.. Chuck deserves to come back. I wasn't too fond of last nights episode though. But Heroes REALLY?! REALLLY REALLY? Man.. it must still get viewers, at this point I think they are greenlighting anything that is sure to get a few views.
