They could use the money and time slot to green light an actual good show.

This. television is very much a trial and error market, they put a bunch of shit out there and see if anything hits, if it doesn't they scrap it and do it again. An hour of primetime is a precious thing, heroes is a waste. Of course all the really good stuff only a few people watch and it ends up getting cancelled anyways.

EDIT: this is about Community? oh well point stands. I'd rather see Community stay around over Heroes too, Community at least has a vocal group of supporters.

I think Parks and Rec sets a pretty high standard for tv comedy, at least the second season, and thats an NBC show. It has been consistantly funny all season, and generally well written.

And fucking 30 Rock.

30 Rock is decent, for me it's hit and miss. Modern Family has been really good too, glad that got another season too.

I think another one of Community's problems is that it leads into better comedies, and you watch Community first and then see Parks and Rec, the Office, and 30 Rock and it really pales in comparision. I'm not saying it's a terrible show but it really isn't nearly as good as the shows that follow it (even the office, which hasn't been very good for quite a while)

:lol I love at how fast this thread goes down when anyone mentions Community. :lol It's like a Costanza-Bomb.

Also, fuck it. I guess I'll get SSF4 on PS3. I need more games, and I do have a wireless arcade stick for it. Just need to get a Vanilla save file to unlock the extra costumes.

AFAIK it's not costumes, it's 2 screen filters.

I think you mean Will Forte.

No I mean Will Ferrell. it was a point of reference, I'm stating I like stupid comedy that some don't find entertaining. I think MacGruber will be similar, Will Forte has only "starred" in one movie that I know of.

Yeah I looked into the save file unlocks and they are character filters that are selectable like a costume. One is sparkley the other is a boldly drawn lines.

Ah, my apologies. Well, i think one of the reviews put it best...

"An unending string of easy scatological jokes which it executes really, really well."

Now to be fair the trailer has plenty of non-scat humor, but seriously, it sounds like anyone who is ok with lowbrow, this will be great.

For my fellow hipsters, Crash Years from The New Pornographers' newest album showed up on RBN earlier today.

alright.. I'm gonna break down and get SSF4. I don't really have the money or time right now but fuck did I like SF4 and I need to start playing something other than SC2 at night hahah.

I'm gonna take the day to get acclimated with the new characters before I play anyone online. I don't know what to think of Juri yet, shes interesting. I like her projectiles.

I have it in my cart. Does anyone here have one of these?

I already have MH3, SSF4, and Nier taking up my time this week so this would be a 100% stupid ass impulse purchase. I just have no idea if the product is a gimmick or not.

It's not by Red Octane, so it is.

Glad this thread is still as insightful as ever.

It's a Harmonix style guitar, made by Mad Catz, in high quality casing. The guts of it probably aren't that different from the cheaper variants Mad Catz have put out, which seems to be reasonably well received and haven't had any major complaints against them (that I've seen).

It all fits with NBC's plan to become the number one network when it comes to comedy.

I guess if you want a guitar controller that is the real thing, but doesn't work like a real guitar anymore, it's good. Otherwise, you can buy a good, solid guitar controller for cheaper than that now.

Charron, sorry to keep bugging you...but how do you see a preview screen of the note chart in Reaper? Is it even possible?

Click the fx icon on the MIDI track, add the RBN Preview fx.

Assuming you mean seeing a video of what the chart looks like in game...

I did mean to video...but that also let me find what didn't load up when I started..."The following effects are in the project file and are not available"....fun...off to find out why

Did you download the RBN plugins for Reaper?

I think when I installed them I installed to a different folder than Reaper, because I had a 64 bit version or something. So maybe check that.

I should go back and finish my amazing Ice Ice Baby chart. Can somebody offer to chart the vocals for £5?
