I'm pretty sure the B52's dude was playing Lips instead of some secret copy of RB3.

I thought the exact same thing, but I never put my faith that HMX would let anybody play RB3 songs this early outside of closed offices.

Two things for my inclusion

1) It's been on the rumored lists forever, the same lists which are coming out to be compeletly true.

2) With RB3 having harmonies (or duel singers), it would be an AWESOME 2 or 3 person song. Trading off the guy-girl parts = vocal epic.

EDIT: Duel singers is actually what I want more with the multiple microphones. Harmonies suck.

I also got around to seeing some scans for the game and Axel has finally reached the nadir of shitty character design with that awful gotee he's sporting now. If you're out there, Vicarious Visions, create your own art style for GH7 onwards that looks nothing like Neversoft's work.

It's a resource hog to the fullest, but it wasn't an awful port at all. The bitching that it got was largely directed to the Rockstar Social Club requirement.

It ran like shit on dual cores and quad cores were still expensive back in '08. iirc, RDR is on the GTA4 engine and it should run just fine on my rig. It probably won't be max everything and 60 fps, but it'll still look pretty awesome.
