Peace Sells…But Who’s Buying? will be available for $10.99 (880 Microsoft Points) for the album, or $1.99 (160 Microsoft Points) per track.

In addition we will also be putting out a Rock Band Tour 4-pack from bands on our Rock Band Tour kicking off in October.

“One of Those Nights” by the Cab
“Hands Down” by Dashboard Confessional-
“She’s a Handsome Woman” by Panic! At the Disco
“Natural Disaster” by Plain White T’s

All tracks in the Rock Band Tour Pack are $.99 (80 Microsoft Points) or $3.99 (320 Microsoft Points) for a limited time (October 14 on Xbox and October 16 on PS3) when they return to $1.99 (160 Microsoft Points) per track or $6.99 (560 Microsoft Points) for the full pack.

All tracks are original masters on both packs.

DLC comes out on Xbox 360 on Tuesday, September 16th and on PS3 on Thursday, September 18th.

EDIT 2: Maybe Peace Sells for me, but I'll be busy with all the songs on the RB2 disc, plus Death Magnetic in GH3. Not so sure about the $1 songs, I'll wait to see the charts.
 
Interesting pick for PATD. One of the more appropriate songs from Pretty. Odd., but I was hoping for Mad as Rabbits.

Also, be GLAD that the PWT song wasn't Hey There, Delilah.

Very nice. I'll be picking up everything. Great to see those albums they announced are already starting to come out. Hopefully they say what songs are going to be in the No Doubt pack soon.

Definitely getting the tour pack. I would have preferred That Green Gentleman from PATD but the song they picked is pretty good. Also would have preferred something off PWTs first album as opposed to their soon-to-be-released one.
 
So for people who don't have access to Rock Band 2 (because EA are cunts), everyone outside of America can buy the Peace Sells album...but we don't get the actual Peace Sells song??:lol
 
That Sweep the Leg song is hammered into my head because of MLB:The Show 08.
It's a goofy ass song.

That's a pretty good price for Peace Sells, but I'll probably pick and choose on that one though.
 
I haven't listened to dashboard in like 6 years, but I'm glad to see they added Hands down, it's gonna be neat playing it on RB when I used to know how to play it on guitar. pretty easy song so I hope it translates into fun. will be fun to sing though.

So Harmonix are now positioning DLC to intentionally fuck everybody who bought the first game over. The game they sold as a "platform". Peace Sells is the one song from that album that I want. Full album DLC is now incomplete album DLC unless you buy their new game. Fucking retarded.

Nerdrage is so on. I'm not buying Rock Band DLC from...now.

Holy shit, Hands Down by Dashboard! I'm excited. That's actually one of the better songs from him they could have choose. And don't make fun of me for liking his old stuff! :D

Yeah, it's pretty retarded. Having one song from an album be isolated in one game doesn't make much sense though I guess it's one way to get people to buy the album.

Still retarded though.

I didn't really expect anything that big this week. That will be saved for the week Rock Band 2 hits PS3 & Wii (Aren't they doing dlc for the Wii now?)

This 'platform' nitpicking (and you really aren't the only one) has become silly. Harmonix is putting out an 84 song track pack for $60, which also includes major upgrades to the game. It just has a physical delivery instead of a digital one. They've kept Rock Band a 'platform' by having nearly every track of music carry over, be it on or off the disk, and by not introducing new game design that won't work with the old instruments.

I don't recall any bitching about how Doolittle was broken up between DLC and on-disc content.
 
Crisis averted. I just got the pedal to work by pulling it halfway out the adapter so its loose fitting. Definitely a temporary solution, seems a problem of the omega pedal's connecter or the adapter. I can play like this, but I will wait till someone else on the interwebz finds a better solution.

those will go out in october when the bundles come out imo.. right before GH:WT too.
