I'm in from work about 10, so anytime after that. I ain't got nothing to get up for tomorrow, baby!

Well, if I pick up some booze and can get the missus to play Bass, I'll gladly sing. Although that really depends on the drink, but will happily drum.

I can just about sing on hard atm so we won't be breaking any records. Score wise.

Need answering fast:

Do you think I can buy the euro version of RB1 (PS3) and then buy the US version of RB2 and use the RB1 songs on RB2? Or should I just import the US version (RB1)and save the hassel?

AFAIK PS3 DLC is region locked to the disc (as in US DLC will only work with the US copy of the game) so I'm not too sure

If you're online I'll send you an invite.

I find it ironic that Late to the Party continues to be late to it's own party.

Hell, if I play bass I'll bass -AND- sing for LttP.

I just played some Vs. games with Finncognito, and the last song I picked was Outside. I almost forgot how awesome that song if on guitar. If you're copying over Rock Band 1 songs, ensure you keep it. I will want to play it if we ever play. Because it's awesome. Both the first verse riff and the chord sequence are awesome to play.

Good games, Dave. It's nice to be playing the guitar for a change after weeks of just drums/vocals. Too bad the MP scores don't save, I improved my Red Tandy score by 40k :/.

EDIT: Yeah, Outside is easily one of my favorites on guitar. Curse those 3 notes I missed.

Yeah, I wish they would too. I guess the whole not-failing thing would make it "unfair".

What I love about Outside is how we came out the first section, I looked up, and we had nearly the exact same score. TENSE.

i'm not going to be able to sing down with the sickness cause i can never get the cheeseman version of the tune out of my head when i hear it.

i wish they'd put that one in rockband 2 as well :)

Wow, I can't believe they didn't go with the radio edit of this song. I figured for sure they would just cut the "rant" part of it.

Yeah! I'm so happy!

HERE IT COMES, GET READY TO DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Harmonix, I love you. That talkty bit makes the song worthwhile.

It helps enforce the fact that you are George Costanza. I bet you're over the moon.

McBradders, what's your tag about?

I worked at Sony, on Home to be precise (as well as some other things previously), and was one of the casualties in their company wide redundancy program last year. I posted in the thread and the next day I had a tag.

Which was nice.

I'm not sure if this has been answered already, but is there an option to pick what venue you want to play at in the quickplay mode? I don't remember this being an option in RB1.

Probably made the redundancy seem like not a big deal.

Preorder paid in full! I'm going to rock out with my cock out this Sunday. Traded my copy of Rock Band in so I'm free to play MGS4 without any distractions until Sunday.

I have watched the FC video of Everlong and am watching the FC of Living on a Prayer. (OK, I'm breaking my media blackout, I'm weak.)

HOLY FUUUUUCK THIS IS AWESOME, where are the crowd vocals, though? I couldn't hear them in the Bon Jovi vid. edit: heard them in come out and play, i am happy

Is there conformation that we can make our own set list and just play one after another? Nothing sucks worse then getting kicked back to the song list after every single song....especially with a group of drunk friends arguing over what to play. If custom set lists are in the game that justify's a purchase right there.

Yep, custom setlists are a go.

You can make your own setlist. You can't save them, however, so if you want to do a full run through of an album you have to create a setlist every time.

How much did you get for RB1 and where did you trade it in?

What? There's no option to just "play Doolittle"?! STILL?

I'm sure this has been brought up somewhere, but I just found out you can delete songs from the RB1 content transfer. My question is: Can I redownload a deleted song the easily or would that require redownloading the entire disc or buying a new license?

No, there definitely is. I remember from watching one of the E3 vids.
Oh, there is? I stand corrected.

Also, any guesses on the time it'll take for someone to post up Shackler's Revenge, and the minutes for it to be taken down after it's uploaded?

There's no option to "re-download" the songs, but the content transfer license you get will always work on your system. So you can just go and copy all the songs over again. You can't pick which you want though, so you'll have to sit through the entire process and then delete the songs you don't want again.

Looks horrible to play, to be honest.

Or you can just sort the songs by "albums" and click on the album title. It automatically arranges the songs in order and with one click puts every song in the album on a setlist.

With the updated sorting options there is no reason for saved setlist.

Well, it's an option that I'd like to be there. Ideally I'd like to be able to create a setlist of favourite songs, open it, and then tell Rock Band to give me a set number of them to play.

Very happy that the albums are working properly now though.

You can create your own setlists, but you can also play anything that has a "heading" with one click. This would include artists, albums (with correct track order), genre, decade, or even tier.

If you wanted to create a setlist that encompassed multiple genres and whatnot, that's where the custom setlist comes in.

Oh, so it's still the same song as that "Chicken Soup" (or whatever it was called) that leaked? Yeah, it's... mediocre. I wouldn't say it sucks, but it's not that great.

I wish they could just release Appetite for Destruction as DLC.

Also, what's with tags being handed out like candy? I've seen four new ones today.
Sharing is caring.
edit: lol, i need to look about 20 posts above me.
