That reminds me....where in the fucking world is my U2. A collection would be great but the albums? I would die.

they probably don't wanna do it. have they ever been in a music game? don't think so. If they do wanna do it they probably want more then the average artist. (IE not worth the trouble)

but then I thought the same about coldplay and I woke up and saw them on GHIII. who knows really. :(

Did you just say U2 was an "average artist"?

Oh wait. You said it wouldn't be worth the trouble for U2? I thought you ment it wouldn't be worth the trouble for Harmonix. My bad.

nah I was saying HMX. I was saying maybe U2 wants a decent amount more then the other artists and with the buisness model that HMX/EA/MTV have in place it probably isn't worth it in there opinion. Who knows really. Im just shootin shit in the air really.

Okay I understand.

I guess that makes sense. Who owns U2's music? Is it Bono, because I wouldn't think that he personally would charge that much. But I guess its all up to his agent anyway.

Something like that. I used to be crazy, when I got the game I bought nearly everything available. Now I'm being a bit more...careful with my money.
Likewise. I hadn't bought anything for 6 weeks before Moving Pictures. That night I bought 18 tracks. Still haven't played most of them either :p

FYI, I don't block avatars.
[OT]Speaking of, Is Time Crisis 4 really any good?

The GunCon looks horrible and reviews aren't favorable, but I really enjoyed the PS1 installments.

Should I get it if I can find a deal on it?[/OT]

there was a Guitar Hero: U2 rumoured a few months ago but who knows. Though with them tripling the SKU's next year...

That heart shaped guitar is super tempting, just for it's campness. Looking a little like a pair of bollocks doesn't harm either.
First Truck Nuts, now guitar nuts?
Also, this is the first I've heard of these talentless skanks. One of them is 17? Shiiiiiit. Bitch is going to look 60 when she's 30.

Ehh... for cheap, yeah. I got it to support Namco in making more games to support it. DLC never came out, but more games should come out hopefully. (Unless they get shitty Wii downgrades)

There's a lot to do in the game if you want it, but the gun is only for TC4 currently.

The gun isn't bad at all. SUPER accurate and the attachment on the side feels fine..

HOOOOLEEE SHIT Now I really feel like I'm dying. Just did the Rolling Stones set to become a rock god or whatever on drums. Battery followed by Painkiller = drenched in sweat and sore all over. That Painkiller opening drum solo is awkward as hell, but once you get beyond it it's actually not too difficult. Just really fucking exhausting. Battery on the other hand was a nightmare. I failed three times. If I had failed a nano seconc earlier we would have failed the whole song.

Ok, so my roommates cornered me. We're going to split the cost of the new RB2 drums.

I've read that there is a huge issue with crosstalk between pads, is this significant?

Where is the best place/chance to buy the set?

The gun is really accurate? That's good, I worried it would have controlled like a Wii shooter (horrible) what with relying on a sensor and all.

Hmm, I look around for a deal then.

Thanks

Speaking of failing hard songs, how come I failed Bodhisattva on hard near the end, yet I beat it on expert straight afterwards, hammer-on chord hell and all?

I probably need to use hyperspeed for "hard" songs, I think the slow scrolling really bores me and screws everything up.

The sensors stretch to fit the edges of your TV and you calibrate it as always, unlike the Wii which operates off of a fixed width bar and a cheaper sensor.

Please no. Put them in Rock Band, not GH. It would be easy to get u2 to sign up for the game, just promise a large percentage of the profits from it to go to charity or AIDS research in Africa. Think I am kidding? It would probably go VERY well.

I have to say RB2 does a phenomenal job at picking slow paced songs that are awesome to play. Lazy Eye, Feel The Pain, Lush, Rock N Me and I would even throw Teenage Riot in there. I just played that setlist and it was so chill. On drums those songs are fantastic and they are 3-4th tier at the highest.

Yes, we need NIN With Teeth album, also off the top of my head..

K THX!

With Teeth was a terrible album. The worst NIN album released. Well, actually, I can't say that will full authority since it was so bad that I haven't bought anything since then and even with the free downloads I haven't really devoted any time to listening to the newer stuff.

"The Hand That Feeds" was catchy and radio-friendly, but well... that was just about the only decent part of the album.

Releasing it dual-disc was nice as well. More artists need to support next-gen audio more heavily since, well... it's doing about as well as fucking laserdisc.

You need to be slapped for your avatars dave. Having to block them is annoying, stop changing them!

Indeed. Change back. I liked the old avatar.

I think he meant "bollocks".

With Teeth was awesome if you had no idea who NIN was. that was my first album that got me into NIN. FOR ME I thought it was really good. I was just feeling it from front to back.

If your a diehard NIN fan then maybe it sucked. With Teeth was the shit though. Im also bias because I have the blu-ray of them performing and all there With Teeth songs are awesome live.

I hear he's also responsible for getting Journeyman pulled off the air.

I owe him some congratulations then. That was an absolutely terrible show. Yeah, they filmed exteriors in SF, but they never really bothered to go much of anywhere: Financial District, North Beach, SoMa (oooh... an Internet startup in SF in the late 90s... how original!) and there's absolutely no way he could possibly afford a house here working as a journalist. Let alone a house that nice. They also had the terrible habit of constantly using a song right after the jump to immediately set the time he'd jumped to in a really annoying way. I was able to hear my girlfriend watching it in the other room and be able to pinpoint it it was so obvious.

Not nearly as bad as Moonlight though. I cannot fathom the fact that there were fans of that. Including my girlfriend who sometimes has trouble not watching terrible, mind-rendingly bad shows provided they're about vampires. At least she's too smart to show any interest in that terrible Twilight series.
