Guys, any idea why a selection of song's of the past few weeks arn't showing on the ingame music store?

(Megadeath, Love Spreads, She Sells Sanctuary etc.)

It came out just before the summer of '69, which means noone has any real recollection of its release.
 
Came home yesterday, excited to buy Red Hot Chili Peppers, Static-X and Bad to the Bone....

Non of this in the EU store! RHCP is already in the in-game store, but not on PSN! What gives, HMX?

Tommy is listed as a 1969 release in the selection screen.
Amazing Journey shows up in '60s if I sort by decade. (Only eight songs... Shameful.)
I have no idea what you're talking about.
 
Guys I really need to know quickly if the GH3 guitar now works with Rock Band on the PS3 and if it does how can I change the effect on it. I am not sure right now because of all the talk about this stuff.

One or the other? So if I brought my HDD to my friends console and logged onto live, I could play the DLC?
 
Just found out this is coming out in Europe in November. Don't know how I missed that news but I'm glad we don't have to wait an eternity for it to arrive.

Also, I like the Offspring and look forward to seeing how their songs play in RB.

Yeah. I'm visiting family in Australia right now, I just took my HDD with me, plugged it into their 360, signed in to Live and I can now play all my arcade games, access any piece of DLC content.
(except for Sonic 1 the XBLA title, for some reason it's glitched and will only work on a console it is signed to, either by purchasing on that machine or by using the DRM tool. Otherwise it's just the trial version)

A cool tip, sign in with your gamertag, and any other profile on that console can access all your DLC too. When my step dad wants to play Geometry Wars 2, he signs my tag in on controller 2 and then he has access to the full version and can post a score on the leaderboard. Even though his tag never purchased the game and it's never been bought on his console. Microsoft gets a hard time over the whole DLC thing, but I think that they've got a very fair system, especially now with the online DRM transfer tool.

Still on the fence whether I should import RB2 or wait for the Eurelease.

Think I'll wait around, since RB is still entertaining the living hell out of me and there's a shitload of games coming this few months as it is.

Yes, the GH3 controller finally works in RB on PS3.

No, you can't change the effects. The only guitars that can do that are the ones with effects switches.

At a European event, a guy said it was coming out in 2009. IGN reported this as a delay, when in reality it was more a confirmation it wouldn't be out in the Europe this year. Sites like Amazon.com have it down for next week in the US.

I'm pretty sure Konami have released screen shots with what appears to be 4 drum pads and a bass pedal. I'll try and find them.

*edit* Yeah, compare this big setup with this. I assume that's not a guitar chart, just cos of the weird orange thing.

I've got a Fender Standard Strat(Sage Green and Maple fretboard) and a VOX30VT. The Vox comes with about 8 different amp sound variations and the same amount of effects in it too.

excellent. the game with the drums arent coming out until november as well. which leads me to believe the RB drums will work.

Didn't we get the press release from sony and ms that all instruments will be cross compatible between games

It works with everything, according to Sony. And we all know that if it works on the PS3, it works AMAZINGLY on 360.

Just to be sure, in order to export songs form RB1, all I need is

  • the RB1 disc
  • the export key from PSN/XBLA

...right?
no need for the RB2 disc (or any of its installation files) or anything?

Alright bought one for dirt cheap new. Damn it plays so much better with the Les Paul. Well the effects thig is no big deal because most of the time I play without them anyway.
