ok bros Lost Odyssey is really fucking good. I'm about 2 hours in and the characters are likable, the story is intriguing and the combat is serviceable. Playing an RPG with adult characters is so awesome. Even Jansen is a good comic relief character. I was thumbing through the instruction manual when I was installing the game and noticed some lolis, but maybe they won't shit up the game THAT much.

I also have to say that my fondness for DSotM grew after reading that book about the band. It really helped to put into perspective just how much of themselves they gave into the production of that album that simply wasn't present on later works.

In my head, I was hoping they'd just give you an airship so you could fly around exactly where you wanted to. Oh well. I guess as long as I can easily get back to Gran Pulse I'll have enough to keep me busy for a couple more days.

Could the final boss(es) even kill you? I had more trouble with single enemies leading up to there. None of his forms ever came close to killing me besides that one ultra attack.

I think I'm giving it my game of the winter award.

I tried playing on PC for a couple hours and remembered how fucking terrible the game is. I don't even know if I'm getting SSF4 since it's gonna still be slow ass boring SF4. I honestly don't know how they can go from making the greatest fighting game ever to making that piece of shit.
