So I'm trying to compose my own songs using Freesound samples because I lack proper recording equipment or proper talent or a stable band. Right now though... I'm having a hell of a time making it not sound like it's just a MIDI mapping. It's just annoying, I have no idea what it is I'm not doing. I guess this method you have to be making electronic-sounding music.

I think the maps are alright, there's a few shitty ones like Estate and Derail. Killstreaks are fine and easy to take out with rocket + they are fun. Agreed on Akimbo and running classes though.

What about the "core gameplay" is great? The pretty much just standard FPS controls.

Controls, shooting mechanics and movement are spot on. I didn't appreciate it in CoD4 but after playing the mess that is KZ2 I can appreciate the little things in MW2. Something about BC2 and KZ2 just feel off, where in MW2 it's shitty because of all the extra stuff.

It's much easier to get over 1 on the PS3 than it is on the 360 sans camping. I'm not saying anything against your skill, however.
