Don't skip AC2....really one of the best of last year, with only a few contenders to that title.

Now...do I go back to playing Witcher, or do I go play some Rock Band....anyone want a bassist on 360?

How is the Witcher? Saw that deal, think I'm going to get it. Been pretty bored lately and need a new game to play.

I wouldn't debate anyone who said it was the best western RPG out there. Characters are fantastic...I've met dozens of named characters and they all stand out as individuals to me (despite a bit of character model sharing going on). Combat is pretty cool, though I don't know what the point of any other weapon besides your two swords is. Magic system is simple but effective, and the Alchemy system is complex enough without being totally overwhelming.

Mostly, Geralt is the best character I've ever played in an RPG.

Do note that I'm playing it with Czech voices, so I'm not sure how the English voice acting is (or if it fits the characters as well) but I haven't heard any complaints.

It really is astounding that this is a 'first try' by a dev team. If they prove to be just as talented with Witcher 2, I could see them skyrocketing.

Terror you play Bayonetta post-patch?
I have it fixes all the item pick up load times, which was probably the most important thing. It played fine outside of that. It was pretty smooth before that imo. I haven't played too much of it though, about 4 hours total. My friend that lended it to me is an asshole about borrowing his games and I'm waiting for a sub 30 price point to buy.

Witcher is awesome. I got it during the winter Steam deal, sure it takes awhile to download almost 16 gigs, but man it is soooo good.

Awesome, I'll let it download overnight and just crawl into a coma until it's done.
I just bought the physical disks, because it came with books and a soundtrack and it took about the same amount of time to receive it.

The Burnout Paradise guys said it was technically feasible to have cross-platform play but that Sony and Microsoft would never allow it for political reasons.
Isn’t FFXI cross play between all platforms including PS2? If you can have a cross play between PS2 and 360 then there is no reason why they can’t do that with the PS3 or Wii.

Yes and PC, its an MMO so the same rules don't apply.

Play Online is so damn horrible. FFXIV better not have something similar. Frontend needs to be simple like WoW.
It's already been confirmed to not use POL. Don't ask me for a source on that, I read it somewhere (probably BG)

and The Sword pack 01:
Freya
Iron Swan
Lament For The Aurochs

Yeah I know. But what I’m saying is that it’s possible, like say they make a Burnout client for all platforms with the same servers just like an MMO.

Grab AC2 for 30$ instead of GOW3, loved the game . GOW3 is great but if you are looking for replayability, AC2 has much more to offer.

GOW3 is worth a rental if you only wnat to play it once, love the game but it is a bit short (tough it does make wonders with the ps3 hardware on the technical side of thing , prettier than UC2 for sure).

Started my course, have not had the chance to play one game for the week :(, i'll be busy for a lttle while (like a year). That wil be hard but worth it. My ion is calling me , I think I hear it weep

AC2 is pretty good but falls apart at the end.
The pope is a wizard wat

My biggest complaint about AC2 is that some of the cities are actually too big. Venice for example. It makes it a pain in the ass to find all of the feathers. Also the fact that if you don't buy the DLC you are missing out on chapters 12 and 13 is pretty retarded and borderline evil (I bought the DLC).

Neither of those memory sequences are in any way important to the overall game and sequence 12 is downright terrible.

That being said, it's worth it to buy the sequence 13 bundle since it includes more tombs, which are awesome to play through.

I'm in Delphinus now and the furthest I've gotten is mapping out the first floor. Do you have any tips for the one enemy scan on that floor? I suspect it's a considerably high-level demon and it wipes me out every time I scan.

I'm guessing it is
Futotama
who is level 42. Let me try to fight him a few more times and see what he is weak against.

Level 42? That would explain why its attack hits everyone for 100+ damage.

Yeah, I'm staying away for now, especially if his analyze rate is as slow as you're suggesting. Chupacabra is the same way.

Do the weather changing balls really matter in FFXIII? Just seems like day is harder with those wyverns. But once you poison them they drop fast.

Why didn't anyone tell me this scott pilgrim thing is based on Edgar Wrights new movie?!(kidding :lol) now I'm interested because I've been waiting forever for edgar wrights next flick. Michael cera might ruin it though.

I don't think the orbs matter at all, they just change the enemies, but there are easy and hard ones for day and night. So I judt said fuck em and stayed in the day.

Depends. Which console? Which region of Europe do you live in?

PS3. I live in Brazil so I'll have to import the game and it can be either from the UK or the US. If both versions are equal in terms of DLC availability I'm going with the one with cheaper songs, and that looks like the UK version. Correct?

I believe the game itself is region free on the PS3. You will have access to all the "real" DLC, but your ability to get Rock Band Network content will be limited. I'm not sure how the dollar conversion rates are right now, but songs are generally $2 each on the US store.

The game is region free but the DLC is not IIRC. I suggest you go with the US version just to be on the safe side.
