I really think this is one of the coolest TISDOSE to date, if not one of the most rare....

then again, I'm probably going to find out that most of you have heard these before...
 
I sir, have not heard them and sincerely doubt I would have otherwise either. I'm barely awake otherwise I would comment more on them.......................sleep.................

and Splinter Cell is actually impressing me. I'll see how that counter-spy mode is, and if co-op runs well...still, I know I'll miss Spies vs Mercs.

Yeah, you can play the co-op split screen.


It's a good game, possibly a great one, but it's so NOT a successor to the PT/CT style of play. Conviction is all about your gun. It's no longer about how you can get through a warehouse with seven guards without being seen, it's now about how you can kill those seven as fast as possible. Because, yes, you will kill almost everyone you come across.

That's fine, my girlfriend is super aggressive in these games, stealth would probably just piss her off.

I dunno what to do about my drums. If I get an ION set then I'll be blowing all the cash I had saved up for the real thing on them.

On one hand I think my girlfriend would prefer the quiet of the IONs, but on the other I can't really have friends over have them play with me with their real life instruments if I'm going to be attached to the fucking xbox.

DJ Hero is 49.99 starting today i think at TRU (also THRide)

Worth it? Its pretty tempting.... ill wait till THride is like 15 bucks tho

Well i am sorry that i dont meet your standards :lol Really though i think it is there problem. Its not just Hendrix, the DLC of late has been appaling, save for a few songs. Also nothing wrong with the bands i have posted.
better than Hendrix anyway

Anyone wanna get together this weekend and help me get some Beatles achievements? I need to gold-star a bunch of songs, get the unison bonuses one, and get Beatlemania for 60 seconds.

I haven't played it in a while, but yesterday at work, me and a co-worker went through on my account and got all of the double-fabs on vocals, and it was quite awesome. The triple-fab achievement will be a little more work, but will still be fun. Just need to find a 3rd person competent enough on vocals to do it (even on Easy).

People are actually MORE cheesy on PC than console (which is incredibly surprising)

I saw more OMA/Danger Close/noob tube setups on PC in a couple hours then I've seen on PSN and XBLA combined. I even saw some knife classes which I didn't think any PC gamer would be scrub enough to use.
 
I respect Quake (and Quake players) but CS is clearly superior in every way.

also, you're missing out by not playing QuakeLive. Free and awesome. TRY IT!
 
The sense of community in the late 90's FPS's are what I absolutely miss the most.

Being in a clan actually meant something back then. Now it's all about whatever band of fucktards that can make a 420 / penis referance in 4 characters or less. It pisses me off really when I think back at how much fun I had in Rocket Arena 2 and 3 on servers where I knew almost everybody that joined. Friendly scrimages with these people was commenplace. Matchmaking can't hold a candle to that.

Most people now have no idea what they are missing.

You know you can still do that. GAF has its own TF2 server that many of the same people frequent every night.
 
Serj seems like such a cool guy. I wish we were getting vanilla Empty Walls in the game though. Beethoven's Cunt was an underrated song, it's fun to sing and it's really fun on drums.

It was confirmed over Twitter last night that the Serj songs would be off of "Elect the Dead", and not the symphony thing. Is that what you meant by "vanilla"?
