I forgot to mention Death Note yesterday. Awesome premise(sp?) but it turned to complete shit half way with the corporation.

Also, has anyone here found a ipad in BB or apple store?
 
actually quite stoked on GD:RB

especially after seeing the band on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon

I don't know why but seeing Jimmy Fallon showing off the XBOX 360 case for the game and hearing the band talk about it a little bit put me in "I must have this game made by Harmonix" mode...

$50 with export is pretty awesome.

I need a reliable PSP video conversion program. I'm using PSP Video 9 but I keep getting "format not supported" when I try to watch the video. I've got it on MPEG-4 AVC 480-272 768kbps stereo/128kps but it's a crap shoot as to my end result.

I/we are getting it day of release but would probably prefer to wait for the weekend to get the achievement but could swing an evening during the week if need be.

The manga pretty much dies around halfway, too. It started fantastically, then halfway with the killing of, you know, it kinda lost the magic.
 
Oh my god. First time I listened to Demos for the Deaf :D

Hearing only the drumming on Song for the Dead is like the most awesome thing ever. Also, Grohl's drumming on Little Sister shits all over that other guy's drumming. Sucks that Josh's part was far from final, though.

Well, he is in the sense that he's a lot more approachable and welcoming than Homme. It doesn't really matter since they're both good at what they do.

Besides, Lanegan has always been the better singer of the three.

What kind of sick comparison is that?

Kyuss and Foo are like the extreme opposite of what they want to be, you can't compare that. Also starting a new discussion, SftD is not even the best Queens album, so that doesn't belong there, too. It's just the Queens album with the best drumming.

And I can't wait for TCV's second album, that has some serious potential.

I would not argue against that. I prefer Josh's songwriting too for the most part. Something about QotSA and, to a lesser extent, TCV that's just really... I dunno, nasty? But like good nasty, like finding porn in the woods or something.
