I'm fairly certain the quality of the PS3 port had nothing to do with Bayonetta's obvious-from-the-start sales. The whole game is designed to be as unappealing to mainstream audiences as possible. It's a game made strictly for gamers.

I said slightly, other than GI having a blurp about the PS3 port being really fucking shitty (which a lot of people get due to the edge card shit at GS) none of my friend who all like action games even got it because of how bad the port is. It would have put up better numbers if the PS3 version didn't suck, that's for sure.

I didn't know what screen tearing was until I joined GAF. Now I always notice it.

In reference to what? Gameplay? Sure, but I don't ever notice anything that you people talk about like it's awful. People say the PS3 port is fucking awful and broken and I wouldn't play it if it cured my grandmother's cancer. I literally never ever notice that. And I don't know what screen tearing is.

It's weird because I'm completely an audiophile and videophile when it comes to my TV and Receiver set up for movies and television but I never notice anything in games.

Right now, the only other way I know to get one is either through Ebay(which is way too expensive) or some guy on Gaf offering but he's charging a $150 premium.

I never notice anything with audio or anything else.

most graphics and gameplay though, they stand out to me like a sore thumb.

To Sega's credit, it's not being developed internally.

Giving it to a dev that has no idea how to make a Sonic game like the Genesis-era titles was not very smart, though.

FPS drops are the most significant thing for me, I don't care that they fixed the loading times in Bayonetta PS3. If the FPS is all over the place it's not even worth my $10. Playing a majority of my games on PC before this gen made me really anal about FPS. Anything else doesn't bother me that much.

I've watched a few vids of the ps3 version of Bayonetta. It looks fine, fps wise, I wish I got it on the ps3. That game was made for the dualshock.

And I don't see the screen tearing issues either and frankly, I don't give a shit. I don't think that would hinder my overall experience/enjoyment out of a game.

I'm right with you. There are so many games that people think are shit, and I see absolutely nothing wrong with them. I'm not extremely picky when it comes to most games, and as long as it's fun, I'm game.

Not many games have severe amounts of it, but it's quite noticeable in Bayonetta and Uncharted 1.
