You were right, Bebedora! Holy shit at the end of American Music on bass! Now I've got to play it again. :(

Yeah! I had played the guitar part first and was expecting the speed up but holy fuck that's nasty on bass.

>implying I hacked

I told you this earlier, those hacks are viral which mean that if I host after being in one of them, I will have those low grav games too.

The only reason why I was hosting was because me and a friend were just fucking around too, because low grav games can be very fun

You play the most fucked up version of TF2 possible. I can't get my groove on with that shit. If I wanna dominate TF2 on 360 I just pick demoman and spam grenades. I've never played a game of TF2 on 360 without someone doing some wild and bogus shit. I try to listen to paramore while I play but it doesn't work. Still the same fucked up version of TF2.

The co-op/multiplayer thing isn't really the focus. You've got a team. That team can be made up of real people or AI people. Then you've got challenges where you've all got to do moves and stuff. It might even be better to go with AI if you have shitty friends.
I won't be getting it right away, but I hope that is the case when I pick it up for ~$40 in a few months time.

Has it been revealed if the GD:RB export code works like L:RB, where you need a separate code to buy the export, or will it be like RB1, where you just buy the license from the store?

I still love u jarate bro.

I think you know the answer to this.

It costs $70 to export your songs from GD:RB to RB2.

Harmonix. :lol :lol :lol

Free export from GameStop. They've let this be known for months now. If you're too stupid to pre-order and want to export right away, then you deserve to pay $70.

Or $10 export code from Blockbuster or Gamestop. Rental, return, all songs for $10. I actually love this system...

If they did the RB1 export then GD:RB is 10$

remember with RB1 all you needed was the disc.

Right. Got it now.

I know more than a few people getting GD:RB for $50 with a free export.

Wait, so if I pre-order at Gamestop I get a free export key?

First time I do this. The other 2 songs from the pack were really good, but Im not willing to spend another hour and a half to clear Guns of Summer when it appears in a challenge. It is not fun at all...it is a stupid beat and it cannot be heard clear...every other hard song (including visions, clouds of californiam this calling etc) are challenging but fun....this is stupid, this is a random beat and it is not fun to even try.

bye bye Coheed and Cambria Pack.

That's correct; what isn't known is if the game will still come with an export code that people can still purchase. That would certainly help with its resell value.

Yes. That's the pre-order bonus.

Doesn't look like it'd be worth it to sell the free export on eBay and then pay the $10 to do it from the back of the manual. LEGO's only going for like $15 now. After fees and stuff, I'd probably just break even.

And csb, don't kid yourself. You know lots of us here are getting it. I'll be co-ordinating our groups to get that 12hour career achievement thing the week it comes out.

GD:RB is rated T for Drug References, Lyrics, and Mild Blood. Mild Blood. Mild........Blood. Mild Blood.

The fuck?

When you fail a song the whole band gets into a fight. They talked about it on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

Wait...the L:RB code is $15 now. WTF?

I think I read it has to do with some of the extras. Must be a bloody video or picture or something like that.

No. Selling the code on eBay is $15. People sell codes all the time. Actually getting it from the PSN/Marketplace is only $10.

Oh, people sell the code for $15 and then the buyer still needs to pay $10? People are crazy/crazy are people. I thought that HMX bumped up the fee.

I don't get why we have to pay money to export. If there's a one time use code in the box, why are we paying to export? I understand in the case of RB1, but don't get it at all in the case of R:RB and GD:RB.

Licensing fees?

What Space Cadet said. Plus, not everyone is going to export, so they wouldn't want to have to license the song twice and build it into the price of the disc.

Expect the Beatles license to be like $20-30, I'd imagine.

Blu_LED said:
When HMX license a song, don'y they license it for use on the Rock Band Platform? So why would they need to pay more to have it between games?

I think they only license the song for the specific game. Which is why "Enter Sandman" did not export from RB1.

XShagrath said:

This is total speculation, right. There is no way TB:RB gets exported.

I thought that was a problem just for RB1. They licensed the RB1 songs for RB1, not for the RBP. That's why they had to go back and relicense most of them.

You might be right. And in that case, HMX are a bunch of money hungry fucks.

I'm sure they know about people who rent the game for export and so forth. Maybe they're just trying to get at least a little bit of money from those people and therefore everyone has to pay a little bit?

So if I had an XNA subscription to offer to somebody, who here would actually be an active and helpful playtester and not just goof around like Dave?

$5/export is money hungry?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that there's still separate licensing issues for a song that makes it on the disc and whether or not it exports. I seriously doubt Harmonix could swing a deal with these bands that includes both, even for the relative unknowns. I fully expect the RB2 export to be $10, as well.

Seriously, I thought you guys would get the hyperbole.

RB3 and TB:RB export for $20 at E3. Believe.

Ridley, I agree that the RB2 export will be $10.
Shag, I agree the fee supplements the renters.

I'd offer(as I have the time and ability to playtest plenty of songs on all instruments), but I fear my actual sound engineering knowledge and what not wouldn't be the best for the job. If I was playing a chart unless it was an obvious mistake I wouldn't notice on anything but drums:lol
