Knock, knock, knockin' on Heaven's doo-ah-oh.

Also, Chrome did something weird. It showed both the current page in the thread and the first page right under it. o_0

GnR's version of Knockin on Heaven's Door is awesome for having the so over-the-top Axl vocals.

He teaches you to play Keyboard
Axl teaches Keytar
Phil Collins teaches drums
Someone from Grateful Dead that's alive teaches Realtar
Mikey Way from My Chemical Romance teaches bass
Vinnie Good Times from Vagiant teaches the finer art of singing.

No Rocket Queen? You fail miserably (actually, you only fail partially).

The real list of 12 is as follows:
1. Welcome to the Jungle
2. Mr Brownstone
3. Paradise City
4. My Michelle
5. Rocket Queen
6. You're Crazy (from Lies)
7. 14 Years
8. The Garden
9. Yesterdays
10. Civil War
11. Estranged
12. You Could Be Mine

(highlighted are must-haves)

And, yes, put November Rain on the RB3 disk.

It's been a while since last time I was here... I came to tell you that I just met shaggy and the beard and it was great. One of the nicest persons I have ever seen. Thanks a lot for everything my friend, you and your wife Mindy were incredibly kind with me and I can't express my appretiation for you enough. Meeting you was one of the best things that could happen to me in this fantastic vacations. Is sucks to post from the iPhone so that's everything I'm saying for now. Million thanks!

So. The big question of the night's performance: are we that good, or are people that drunk? I'm leaning to the latter, myself.

But it was fun. Some guy's opening a recording studio next door and wants us to record stuff with him. Our lead guitarist has a whole recording rig that he's setting up once he finishes moving to his new place. We didn't tell him that.

WTF, where is Sweet Child O Mine? Not having that in a 3 pack would be a travisty and you don't even have it in the 12?

Appetite for Destruction is all you need. You guys are all trying way too hard. To pretend anything after was relevant or worth the effort of charting is just plain wrong.

smh

I would, however, accept November Rain only if when the solo kicks in the guitarist walks off stage, out of the building in to the desert to have helicopter flyby shots of him shredding as dust kicks up all around.

And then dives in to a wedding cake.

JOB DONE.

Also Don't Cry would be one of the most played songs in parties like Don't Stop Believing, so that's a must in a GnR pack.
I'll concede that the two overrated love songs would be immensely popular (well, Sweet Child would be...Don't Cry, not so much...it's not as party friendly as a lot of other GnR tunes). On popularity alone, I guess they would have a place in the set. However, both songs rank with the worst on their respective albums. Sweet Child is at a bit of a disadvantage as it comes from one of the strongest albums out there.

And, yes, I agree with McBradders that Appetite alone would be more than satisfactory...even though we'd miss out on The Garden.

I would, but I'm going to masturbate.
Ah, no worries, I've done a few test rounds with it...it's a fun list, but certainly tricky at times, especially with some of the RBN bands ("of Montreal"...really? that;s what you name yourselves?)

Still, I'd totally be up for playing this weekend.`

That would be awesome. The song does suck until the last part.

And AMUSIX I disagree with what you said about Don't Cry. If going to hundred of Karaokes around the world taught me something it's that Don't Cry is one of the most played GnR songs (also fun fact The Trooper is the most played Iron Maiden song in Karaokes).

Paradise City has been destroyed by Burnout, but I'd take Welcome To The Jungle. November Rain would be good for the keytar, and they'll obviously need to appease that hardware. Maybe 3 GnR tracks in RB3?

The chart was awful. It was one of the largest soul crushing events of my life and the moment I figured out GH3 was a piece of shit.

Archie said:
This is true, especially considering the last good DLC was Lady Gaga which was like two months ago.
No...that was the starting point for shit dlc. The last dlc we had that was good was axis: bold as love.

TheGreatDave said:
Maybe :(

Hey, I can keep a combo through 3's and 7's now, I'm a guitar hero.
So many bad charts on gh3. 3s and 7s, welcome to the jungle, before I forget, combined with that shit guitar, what a bad game.
