hmm "possibility" better than "no", but makes me nervous.

If The Final Countdown doesn't have support built-in for RB3 keyboards, they should re-release it as DLC. It's a crime to play that without the keyboard controller.

Harmonix had to be waiting for RB3. I forgive them for their delay.

I'll get it just to have something new to play. I'm taking those two days off to watch E3 conferences so I'll be sitting around with nothing to do most of Tuesday.

The Ozzy pack isn't a megapack and wasn't announced via the newsletter, and Maiden was released a week after E3.

I'm hoping they'll announce something later today or tomorrow morning, but the zine will probably just talk about the RB3 info :/

It's a Squier Stratocaster, so it's no gonna be nearly as good of a real guitar as you think.

You'd have to re-string it, and fix the intonation, which is not that easy for a novice to do. Probably would have to change the nut too.

kinda looks like the 3rd and 4th lanes doing guitar and maybe one is on a different difficulty.....or they could of added Rythm guitar???

Might be, outside of Pro Mode, the keyboard is just five-lane like guitar/bass, and you just have to hit something in that 'zone' for it to count.

I really think it's keyboard, but just not in pro mode.
 
I hope they announce a price point for the Special Edition at E3, along with a price for the Strat.

Also, I think it would be cool if the demo'd Rock Band Pro to show off the new guitar and new note chart.
 
Remaining RB3 wishlist:

Beatles leaderboards
Retroactively upgraded songs
Adjustable scroll speeds

If those three items make it, then RB3 is officially the best game of all time.

Ability to hide songs (ie. Visions filter) from the setlist would be nice too.

Revamped song-filtering system. With the Rock Band library expected to grow to about 2,000 songs by year's end, it has grown too big for simply scrolling. With the new system, "you can say, 'only show me songs in Rock Band 3' or 'only songs under three minutes' or 'Eighties metal songs from my (downloadable) collection,' " Teasdale says. "It's a really cool way to take your full library down to a manageable list of songs."

"You can say" is just a filler expression like "like."

Hell, you could probably use the 360 headset that's plugged into the guitar, keyboard or drums to do that.
 
This is some great news to wake up to. Loving everything that's been revealed so far. The wait for this game is going to be excruciating. It's definitely time to upgrade my drum set from this crappy RB1 set I've been using all these years. GOTY.
