I'm so excited can't wait to load into 3 and SA again hopefully the experience is enjoyable going to be odd to say the least.

I've not played Vice City or San Andreas since the PS2 era, so it's going to be surreal jumping back into them, especially having played IV and V. Still, I'm going to enjoy the experience either way.

No that's correct. They've been working with Rockstar since 2018 and were purchased by Rockstar last year and renamed "Rockstar Dundee".

This could either be one of the best things ever (rebuilt entirely, looking as good as RDR2, with online free for all, dialogue and story untouched) or completely dog shit like the mobile ports they released on Xbox One and PS4 with shitty radio songs etc.

This is exactly why I'm waiting for the reviews before I buy. If it's just minimal changes (eg Haitian mission changes in GTA 3) then I'm down for dropping full retail on this. Otherwise, if they go overboard with appeasing the virtuous journo puritans, I'll probably wait until i can get it used for $20ish bucks.

There's no reason why they can't combine both soundtracks in one game.

Restore the original Vice City Soundtrack and include also the music from Vice City stories for god sake.

For the OG fans, I think we need to prepare that GTA 6 will not be GTA of old.

GTA 6 will be a GTA for the new generation and that's not to say it won't be great, but it won't be how previous GTAs have been delivered

The change was inevitable I suppose. Their insane success of GTA online could be the end of old Rockstar as we know it. Gonna be real interesting to see what GTA6 becomes. I hope they at least embrace the open world aspect like older entries of the franchise.

Well these games have not aged gracefully. They're likely just doing dynamic 4K / 60fps. Not sure that will be enough to distract from the dated graphics and terrible controls.

I hope so however I have little expectations for this particularly since it's been reported that a mobile version is hsppening. Time and again I've seen fans make more impressive and passionate efforts in the nostalgia stakes for games than what we officially get snd I wouldn't be surprised if this is something again of that manner.

Hope I'm wrong of course and excuse the cynicism, a lot of things in games and movies have been a let down for me in recent times and want that to change.
