The siren is cool. It's a sound effect from the series and it's a cute way of evoking the style of the old Alien trailers and stuff. It just highlights the camp that this trailer gives off: it's taking itself incredibly seriously in a universe that is inherently lighthearted. Likewise with the "I rebel" line - it's cheesy as hell, but I'm pretty damn sure they realize that.
