Dude, you're so cool.
Try harder.
Who said I was trying to be cool?

Extended version is definitely better. Backstory and conflict is much better fleshed out, new action bits are nice. Plus the Hour or so of additional deleted scenes are worth it alone.I'm putting this list of blu-rays to pick up soon. Is the extended version (and whatever the third version is called) worth it though? I will say I think Cameron's cut of Aliens is better than the theatrical cut.
or may be lack or idea. blue things were basially humans tall and with tail Got to admit though it was better than prometheus engineer. That was the worse designed alien.

Extended cut is much better. DAT TSU TEY.
Also Grace's scene with Jake was a pretty big cut.
I don't care for GobI like the medium length cut the most. I don't care for the Earth intro.

In England, that means spit, in Australia that means a blow job, you need to give me a hint.I don't care for Gob
Its too bad it wasn't an entire segment of film like in the original script. More like 10 minutes or so. And kept stuff like the terrorist attack on the subway and whatnot. The added scenes made very little impact on the movie for me. The Tsu'tey death scene on its own is pretty great but it does break up the pace a bit.
edit: yeah the Earth intro is no good. It looks very cheap too and small compared to the rest of the movie. Frankly, it doesn't belong.
Seems more like it was cut from the film before it was finished, and it wasn't 100% finished for the blu-ray.Yeah the guys who did the effects on the Earth intro did a really shitty job. You could tell that whole opening intersection bit was just a big soundstage.

Both Aliens and The Abyss are absolutely fantastic scripts. So again, you don't know what you're talking about.
Yeah, Cameron has always been a master when it comes to structuring and pacing a film. Dude also knows how to set up payoffs like nobody's business.

Recently, “Avatar” star Sigourney Weaver told reporters that Cameron was shooting three “Avatar” sequels simultaneously.
Landau says that’s only partially true. “We doing two back-to-back, but not a third,” he notes.
But Cameron acknowledges that there are reasons to do some of the work on the films in China, saying, “Within five years, China could easily be as big a gross-revenue market for film as North America, and there are very specific economic incentives for having both Chinese content and Chinese co-production. We are already funded on Avatar 2 and 3, but if we qualify as a co-production, there might be some incentives in the percentage of revenue we can take out of China.
"We are running the numbers to see if that makes sense.” At very least, the director could recruit Chinese actors to work in the movies, which will be distributed worldwide by Fox (though Cameron has not set release dates yet). “For Avatar, we can certainly
use Chinese actors as performancecapture actors because any accent issues will hide within the Na’vi accent,” says Cameron.
“So we can have Chinese Na’vi; [and in the live-action sequences]we can also have Chinese actors who speak English in the film.
We are projecting a future in Avatar, and if you project that future out, it is logical that there would be a number of Chinese amongst the contingent on Pandora.”
Ohhh man. Delicious.Came across this site The Auteurcast where they choose a filmmaker, watch one of his or her films every week in order of release and then discuss it for around an hour or so.
Obviously, they're doing James Cameron right now. Just finished The Abyss podcast discussion and they just released T2.
Ohhh man. Delicious.
Aww.After a couple of reviews I really started to get pissed off with one of the regular dudes. He's completely obnoxious and generally has shitty taste and the main host never calls him on his shit and instead just agrees.
Well, humans are confirmed to be returning.
Taking on Chinese actors? Sudden cost cutting strategy, James?
No, sudden wish for his movie to get screened in China.
Interesting to see what comes of that. One of the things I admired about Firefly's universe was how Whedon projected out a future that realizes a large portion of the human population is of Chinese descent. So there is another contingent of humans going to Pandora.
Cameron ditched Schwarzenegger's symposium because he's on a 'creative roll' right now with the Avatar scripts.

Done better in Sunshine. American-Chinese co-venture.Interesting to see what comes of that. One of the things I admired about Firefly's universe was how Whedon projected out a future that realizes a large portion of the human population is of Chinese descent.
New video with Cameron and Landau jerking off about the sequels being solar powered.

Cameron has also recently converted to an all vegan diet. The man isn't even a red-meat eating man anymore.
I have a bad feeling about just how heavy the green message is going to be in the sequel/s.

@skymovies spoke to James Cameron at the Hobbit world premiere, who confirmed #avatar 2 will shoot in 48fps and in New Zealand
So he still hasn't finished the script...
