Most likely winning the Rumble: Batista

Final Four: Batista, Sheamus, Surprise Entrant and Ambrose

I am wearing extra size pants tomorrow and have 2 boxes of tissues along with a tub of lube.

If Sting shows up tomorrow, the size of my mark will be uncontrollable.

look I know Sting is of age, but if anyone deserves to have a match at WM 30 it is Sting. He deserves it and the fans deserve it. He is the only Major star that has not been on the biggest stage of all.

Sting vs Taker all I ask. Epic match doesn't matter that the streak will live on, but Sting is Sting.

Sting can still go, he'll be fine. And the motivation to actually look good now will get him even further.

Still hits a sweet Scorpion Death Drop, for some reason the Death Lock looks shit (sore knees?) so he can do that as 'teaser' finish but any legit pinfall should be from a SDD.

I can't believe how excited I am to see him on the big stage again, if this shit doesn't come true again COMBINED with the disappointment of D-Bry (probably? how its looking) getting shit on/forgotten as far as getting his proper big time moment.... man I'm done.

I don't think it's the knees, think its more people not willing to take it, look at Jericho doing the walls etc.

Zack Ryder ‏@ZackRyder
Got some new gear for the #RoyalRumble

go!!!
I bet they continually troll Zack by telling him he's going to be on cards and then say, "Whoops, we had a change of plans at the last second" minutes beforehand. He's probably working out his 4-5 minute sequence in the Rumble right now and all of the guys are humoring him - knowing all the while he's going to be replaced by Kevin Nash or something.

I haven't followed TNA much at all but while flipping through channels I saw him on Genesis this past Thursday. Is his contract up or are people banking on a buyout that doesn't slip out?

Contract was up and his match on Impact was writing him out of storylines in the same way they did with AJ. Sting hasn't signed anything with WWE, but the feeling internally is that it's pretty much a done deal. Which means nothing until he's on Raw.

I guess Sting's distaste for WWE is outmatched by his love for money.

He didn't have a distaste for WWE, but didn't like all the risque storylines they were doing before the PG Era. But now they're pretty wholesome. Much more so than TNA has been in the last ever.

Hell yes to this post

Its a great moment that was screwed up at the end and began the end of WCW. Sting should of won clean and the NWO should then start winding down.

Instead they did a stupid survivor series ending with Hogan using his creative control to look good and probably influencing the ref to count normal to make the ending look like crap.

So he's like Matt Damon on the Jimmy Kimmel Show?

That's a great gimmick, put it on the WWE App, have Wade Barrett deliver the bad news.

IIRC, I remember our very own Mr. Enigma got the chance to talk to Nick Patrick backstage at an indy event a few years ago, and even Patrick wasn't sure what to do because he said he was told 10 different things as far as how the ending was supposed to go down.

Maybe Mr. Enigma can clarify.

Lol at anybody expecting Sting at the Rumble. WWE would advertise the shit outta it if Sting was signed for the Rumble. If he comes to WWE it will be at Raw

Sting does a surprise appearance at the Rumble, will then trend on Twitter and be featured in news stories online. So you know the next Raw will pop ratings, so that really makes little difference to Michael Cole going "STING WILL BE ON RAW NEXT WEEK GUYS!"

Person that lasts the longest in the match: Punk.

Person that eliminates the most people: Reigns.

Surprise Entries in this years Rumble: Jeff Jarrett (lol)

Most likely winning the Rumble: Batista

Final Four: Batista, Punk, Reigns, Del Rio.

He didn't like the way Vince had treated past WCW stars either, where they were basically shrunk down by H's.

WWE should do a Rumble angle where everyone gets eliminated before #30 comes out therefore they win by default.

They missed a perfect chance to do this when Edge won. It needs to be a surprise entrant and Edge's "Ultimate Opportunist" character fits with it perfectly.

I didn't think I was going to have the chance to but I'm going to be able to watch The Royal Rumble. I haven't been watching as much pro wrestling recently as I have in the past but I'm looking forward to this.

Person that lasts the longest in the match: Reigns

Person that eliminates the most people: Reigns

Surprise Entries in this years Rumble: Jake "The Snake" Roberts will be the biggest, but I don't think many would consider him a surprise at the moment.

Most likely winning the Rumble: Daniel Bryan

Final Four: Batista, Punk, Reigns, Bryan

I haven't watched in a while now, but this is fucking incredible.

Why aren't they pushing him to the moon again?

4 hours till the AVATAR RUMBLE

Get fucking RABID!

Did you see this?

he's not pushed because he's not marketable (short, hairy, ugly) and wasn't handpicked by vince to be a star. they don't give a fuck about crowd reaction.

Rough, but true.

The lumberjack look really works for D Bry though, and he's not as bad looking as people make him out to be (Bo Dallas level LOL) he looks like a regular joe.

I actually worked with Nick Patrick in a Georgia indy fed for about a year and a half. It was right after his WWE run ended. I eventually asked him what the hell exactly happened with Starrcade '97. He said he had one group of people telling him to call the match normally and another group of people telling him to fuck Sting over. He was in the Gorilla position with both Hogan and Sting, getting ready to go out as the Larry Zbyszko vs. Eric Bischoff match with Bret Hart as the referee was wrapping up. He asked both guys separately if they decided on a finish. Hogan said, "Just what I told you earlier, brother. Call it like you see it." Sting said, "Bischoff said to fuck me and Bret's going to restart the match." He couldn't get to Bischoff before the match as he had just come back from his deal with Zbyszko. So he said since he couldn't get a clear answer from anybody, he just called it like a shoot and counted the three on Sting normally. There was no heat on him from anybody because everyone kind of sensed what was going on.

Person that lasts the longest in the match: CM PUNK

Person that eliminates the most people: Batista

Surprise Entries in this years Rumble: Bryan, Jake the Snake, Jericho, Sheamus, Maven

Most likely winning the Rumble:THE ANIMAL BATISTA

Final Four: Batista, Bryan, Punk, TRIPLE H (Eliminates Punk, then Eliminates himself).

I'd be okay if he just comes to ringside with Cesaro or Swagger and punches someone in the face really hard. Like Jerry Lawler. King vs Dutch 3000 at WM 30.

I would actually mark out if Zeb came out as Dutch, walked straight to the commentary table, punched King as hard as he could and then walked back.

Actually I know people are saying it would be better for CM Punk to last the longest...the better storyline would be the following IMHO:
  • CM Punk is beat down by the New Age Outlaws and The Shield in the back
  • They leave
  • CM Punk in the Doctors Office told he can't compete
  • HHH walks in and says "He is so disappointed in Punk, he thought he was a fighter"
  • Bryan walks in to check on his friend
  • HHH places Bryan in the #1 slot.
