You should watch some Superman TAS and Batman Beyond TAS too, especially the former since some plot elements appear in JL from STAS.
I watched the World's Finest superman episodes and all the other Batman crossovers. Honestly, I just wanted to get right into Justice League after watching so much Batman :lol
I was also planing to watch Beyond sometime after JL. Doesn't it take place afterwards chronologically, even though it was produced before?
Yes but a few episodes deal with it.I watched the World's Finest superman episodes and all the other Batman crossovers. Honestly, I just wanted to get right into Justice League after watching so much Batman :lol

Agree.Wally will always be the Flash to me!
The little plastic bits... on the ends of shoelaces... are called... anglets. Their purpose... is sinister!
I know that most people see JLU as the superior series, and in many ways, I see why. I still like the longer stories in JL, and the focus on the core seven.
Althouh, can we all agree that the opening theme to JL is better than JLU?

Well it was in the pilot so...My only problem with the series is the Hyperclan replacement. Would have been a better moment to bring the team together.
That's only for the first few episodes. Afterwards once they had enough footage it use it was always the same thing.JL's theme is MUCH better than JLU's. Also, I always hated how the JLU opening showed scenes from the episode that you were about to watch.
JL > JLUAlthouh, can we all agree that the opening theme to JL is better than JLU?

Nah JLU's was more hype IMO.

Btas > JLU > Superman > JL > Batman Beyond > Static for themes
Facts.

Batman & Superman Adventures seems to have been forgotten. Is it on any of the DVD sets?Btas > JLU > Superman > JL > Batman Beyond > Static for themes

YES. I thought I was the only one who liked Shirley Walker's theme over Danny Elfman's.As long as that BTAS is the Adventures of Batman & Robin version I completely agree.

No, I remember that being used as the intro for both for a long time.Wasn't that just part of Superman The Animated Series? I know the World's Finest episodes are on Superman season 2.
I thought World's Finest were the crossover series. Had stuff like Superman pretending to be Batman to help Time Drake look for Bruce.

I think the New Batman Superman/Adventures was just an hour program with one episode of each. That was the Knight Time episode, another crossover episode in Superman. World's Finest was a 3 part series showing when Batman and Superman first met. Batman goes to Metropolis because Joker is there making deal with Lex Luthor or some shit. It was in season 2 of Superman:TAS.
I still don't know what the hell Batman/Superman adventure is.
LOL wow, I thought the same thing.YES. I thought I was the only one who liked Shirley Walker's theme over Danny Elfman's.
Call me a dork but its in my top 10 movies. Loved Begins, but MOTP just couldn't be topped for me.That reminds me about Mask of the Phantasm. Amazing movie. Might be the best Batman movie I've seen, animated or otherwise.
LOL wow, I thought the same thing.
and that doesn't even count the amazing Mask of the Phantasm version.

I don't know whether Mask of the Phantasm or Return of the Joker is better. Phantasm probably gets more props for being set in the timeline we're used to
Return of the Joker Uncut > Mask of the Phantasm > Return of the Joker, in my opinion.
The Robin sequence in RotJ is loving amazing

You need to watch Superman TAS
The "fallout" from "it" is where Justice League starts off
Plus you get proper character introductions and backstory on everything related to Darkseid and Apokolips.
Those stories alone are worth the effort
Watch Superman 3-part pilot. It may surprise you
I know you want to get to the good stuff and enjoy Justice League, but you will enjoy JLU so much more if you watch all of Superman TAS and at least the first 2 seasons of Batman Beyond first.
It's the links between all the series that raise JLU from being good to being great, and I can't imagine enjoying JLU quite as much if I were wondering who everyone was or why this person is important, or what event they are referencing.
